I come here almost weekly (along with several other thrift stores in north Broward/boca). The employees here are like no other - always pleasant, often adding to the excitement of “treasure hunting”. The manager of Pompano Beach is clearly doing something right. The shelves are always neat and well arranged- sometimes overpriced ($4 for an item with a dollar tree sticker is insane), but I think the pricing comes from hq.
There is a man that works here, I believe his name is Lamont, who I always see LUGGING the heavy furniture around the store and into the customers’ cars. This man works so hard and is always extremely pleasant and helpful. I see him helping the other employees and customers, all while single handedly moving some huge, heavy items all day. This man deserves a trophy and a raise.
THANK YOU FOR BEING MY FAVORITE PLACE TO SHOP. I have found some truly incredible items here I will cherish for a long time.

I always get all my furniture from this place on Copans and Dixie. Every Wednesday items are 50% off. I purchased 3 beautiful drawers. I am so happy !

The price of the book is $13. But the clerk said it was $25 at the cash register. They set the price as they wish. It's a very bad place.

Worst customer service,the manager Maria doesn't even acknowledge you as a customer. No information that once you buy something you can't return it, even if you bought it and want to exchange on spot ,because of wrong price! That is unprofessional.

Rundown. Lots of items with nothing desirable. Picked over type junk. Industrial area likely not getting any new or exciting donations. Save yourself a trip.

One main gripe with this store is NO CARTS. They have the little wheeled baskets but if you have a child along it doesn't help. The staff use every cart they have to move stock around. What is the problem just get some carts so people can shop. There is a large inventory of items and even though they keep bringing things out most of it is stuff that is very very beat up and looks like it came from someone's attic bin. Don't get me wrong I keep coming back for the odd amazing find or deal but 6/10 trips are in and out the door.

I buy books from here, book prices are very expensive here, there are different prices at the cash register. They are very different from the prices written on the papers, please let's find a solution.

Anyone who gives this place a bad rep may not be nice to staff! I’ve been going here for years and every staff member has been kind me since day one. The older lady introduced herself the day she met me and talked to me like she’s known me her whole life. I always find THE best stuff at this thrift store. It’s my little hidden gem. I actually just purchased a dream couch of mine from 1975 and Lamont was such a great help. He was even able to recommend someone to help me move the piece of furniture to my house. All the staff at this location works very hard and they have always been so kind to me. I cant wait to continue shopping there in the future!

We were going to buy an item that had a price tag on it and then we brought it up to the front to the register and the woman looked at the price and Immediately walked away towards the back of the store and took a while to come back. The woman was rude to tell us that the price was wrong and she never came up with a price. This individual had a bad attitude towards us. This was something I have not ever been used to as We are customers. She wouldn’t quit copping a bad attitude as we walked out the door without her ever suggesting a price on the item. Now I understand why the store is hardly ever filled with people, as such Attitudes will scare them away. We are never coming back to this store ever. I don’t recommend other people either.

Disappointed cashier up charged the price after the item didn’t have sticker similar items priced 9.99 up charged to 24.99

I had a wonderful shopping experience at the Salvation Army recently. I came across two stunning vases priced at an incredible $5.99 each, which was a steal. The gentleman at the register added a delightful touch to my visit with his friendly and humorous demeanor. The store itself is cozy and exceptionally clean, and I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful furniture selection. Shopping here was a delightful experience, and I'll definitely be returning for more great finds - The Bucket Lady ?
