I have purchased two cars from turnpike motors going back as far as 1997 I was very surprised to find out that you still get the same friendly experience they're very hospitable and accommodating it's a very comfortable experience

I didn't buy or sell anything here, but only because of how honest they were. I brought my car in to sell it, but after he inspected it, he said I can't sell this it has an engine knock. Then he pointed it out to me because I was unaware. Could've just bought it from me and sold it anyway, but he cares about his customers and didn't because he won't sell a car he's not confident in. Would definitely do business here in the future.

I’m going to share my experience while dealing with this car dealer, I bought a vehicle from him about two months ago, the car had multiple problems almost immediately. I’m aware of the fact that when you purchase a vehicle here, you’re leaving the lot with the vehicle as IS. However, I was making car payments every week while this car wasn’t working and I put down a $1500 for the down payment. I call the dealer and explain what’s been happening, and he was willing to strike a deal. He told me he’d BUY the car back, and he’d pay me the remaining balance, so I went back to him and I signed over the title and did everything he asked, under the impression that I’d get some money back for a car that doesn’t work and that I can’t afford to fix, because I’d have to replace the whole engine. He said he was going to cancel all future payments and handed me a receipt, and I asked him how he was going to pay me and he said that he DID pay me by exempting all my future payments, and then he told me to leave the car with him. I would’ve walked away with nothing. He misled me and initially (And purposely) had me thinking that he would actually help me but didn’t help at all whatsoever, and he sold me a bad car. He’s a crook, and money hungry. I never expected a dealer to care all that much for customers but I at least expect that the car I purchased would be able to run for longer than a month. I don’t recommend this place, go somewhere else.

Saw a used car on side of the road for sale at this small lot. Website proudly exclaims no dealer fees and car was marked as low mileage. I guess under 100k miles for a 10 year old unit is low, consider most their other units are creeping up on 200k miles.Tried to email and make offer. No response, none over the coming week. Called and got the response that unit was available. This is a quick cash deal for teens first car, not looking to spend all day. Non responsive.We did note their name on 1-95 signage for highway cleanup. We thought that was nice, but business just isn't ready for 21st century and transactional car sales.

Great experience buying here. They were up front about everything on the car we looked at, the price was very fair. Communication was excellent throughout the process. Just a good old fashioned honest place to buy a car which is hard to find these days.

Great local used car dealership. I purchased a vehicle at Turnpike Motors two decades ago. A friend of mine just bought a car this week and is very happy with it so far. Owner and staff seem cordial and efficient, and the process of purchasing and driving off the lot took what amounted to less than an hour or so. Parking wasn't too bad.. they have two lots but they are across the street from each other. There was plenty of parking in one of the lots so we were able to get out and walk around. The selection of vehicles was small, but that's probably because sales are good. Sometimes mom and pop shops are where you find the best stuff.

Nice little independently owned used car lot, I took a friend there to look for a used car in his price range which was around 4k maybe a bit more, and they had a nice selection at that price point.
The gentlemen we dealt with, unfortunately I can't remember his name I'm assuming he was the owner and was very friendly and helpful, in my opinion he went out of his way to help in any way he could.
At the end of the day my friend went in a different direction going with financing a later model vehicle, but in my experience I would definitely recommend this used car lot just for the fact that the owner genuinely seems to want to put you in the right vehicle, he also seems very honest about the condition and any problems with the particular vehicle he may have.
