Had an appointment to get a hitch installed last week they call me as i’m pulling up to the location that the technician left early; they reschedule me to another location and I had to lose cliente to get this installed to the following week. I spoke to the manager he said there will be a discount on the installation for the inconvenience i’m at the Wilton Manors location for the reschedule they told me he can’t offer a discount in a location that’s not his. I got the runaround very bad service. It’s better to be honest and say no, i’d respect that more than getting the runaround

Rented a van and paid for more than enough mileage which I didn’t use all of them and since I drove in the express lane which came out to a dollar 50 they want to deduct it from my account which I know for a fact that the extra miles paid for is more than sufficient and then some to cover. So now I’m going to ask you to pay me back any additional amount of money minus the toll back to my account.
Bad business = no business!!!

Willie was great! Fast, professional, and clearly experienced! After going to 3 different Uhauls looking for a propane refill… others had their equipment broken awaiting repair (Margate on 441), the second did not initially informed me they did not do refills, but only exchange but tried calling me back when I was on my way there (Powerline and Sample), and the third one did not have anyone trained to do it (Sample and Dixie)… I was hesitant about trying another U-Haul for my propane refill. But this location quickly answered my call, whereas all my other calls went to the 800-number and no one locally would answer. This location also assured me they had the staff available to refill my propane tank and the equipment was functioning! Again, Willie was great, and made sure U-Haul did not become a Macdonald’s ice cream machine joke! Thank you for your help!

The Truck was given to my husband and I in poor condition. It was filthy and wet. When we asked for a squeegee to push the water out, we were told that they didn't have any equipment to dry the trucks. When we asked for another truck because we didn't have time to let the truck air out, we were told that there weren't any other ones available. This is all happening during the time we were paying to rent it out. In order to not waste any more of our time or postpone our move, we had to clean and dry the truck under our dime.

U-Haul of Pompano Beach is my go to place for any hauling related matters. It's convenient, meaning they have everything I need. I never had to wait for a truck. Trucks are always clean and in order. The best part are the people. They provide service with ease, thoroughness and professionalism.

Original drop-off location did not exist. Spent 2 hours on the phone with U-Haul to find a nearby drop-off location for the trailer. Personnel was rude, impatient and unhelpful. I had to call many U-Haul locations that had disconnected phones, closed or incorrect trying to find where to go. Very very frustrating! What happened to a once great company!!??

Mizell, the General Manager, did an excellent job assisting me with choosing the correct size truck as well as arranging 2 men to assist me with the loading and unloading of my truck. Mizel was polite and professional. Everything went off perfectly. Allen also did a great job renting me the truck and explaining why purchasing the full insurance was best for me.

If I could give negative review I would! This experience has been the absolute worst and definitely last time I use U-HAUL! This has been the biggest scam I’ve ever had to get out of! They have taken payment, added false charges, cancelled my movers after telling me my payment did not go through, only to make me pay some rando guys and then go back and ALSO charge my credit card. Not able to speak to the same person twice because every number defaults to 800 call center. I’ve opened a report they claimed I hear back to no avail! Steer clear from this place, I’ve filed BBB, and about to contact the attorney general. They also claimed they have no idea who called from their number and took my bank info. SCAM@@@SCAM@@SCAM@SCAM

Upon arrival to collect my truck I was informed that their Booking System was currently Down and they were unable to process my booking.
I informed them that I and my wife required this Truck as booked as we were moving out of our apartment and I was flying out to Australia the next day so this job had to be completed that day.
Following this one of the counter staff informed the store Mgr who immediately went into ACTION and rally the other staff stating we need to find a Work Around and over the following 30 mins they did an truly Amazing job to assist me I have never witnessed in al. of my 20 yrs here in the States simply outstanding as a Owner Business owner I witnessed True Team work!!!!
I would suggest this Team be awarded for stepping up !!
Also suggest that a Manual Work Around procedure be constructed for times like this especially with the state of this Nation when digital online attacks are on the increase.

They are short handed so you can never reach a live person by phone and they charge you for stuff and never explained why or that there was a charge! Very unprofessional

Worst management ever by Mizzel Campbell. I ordered a trailer hitch a week ahead,& the staff did not place the order.. I asked Mr Campbell for a resolution & his remark was that I can place my own order on Uhaul. Com not taking any responsibility ..After 25minutes of conversation with Mr Campbell and visiting him in person.. He placed the order as it was supposed to a week ago
