I ordered a door stop, $46.50, that was the wrong finish for a door, I then ordered the correct finish from this company and received an RMA to return the first item. The re-stocking fee was $13.93 or 38% of the original purchase price and I paid the $5.25 return shipping; $13.93 was the cost to restock a 3" x 5" box, while the replacement door stop slips on a tile floor.

I bought brass strike plates (ST-214-RC-605) to replace the originals that didn't fit well after installing new, 6-panel doors. This style with rounded corners is no longer readily available elsewhere, so I'm glad Doorware.com had them. The order process was easy and they came in a reasonable time. However, the quality is really lacking in this product, typical of "designed in China" products. The brass is too thin (they feel thin and look thin, probably 1/3 thinner than a traditional strike plate). The edges are sharp (haven't been deburred), but because they are brass it was easy for me to fix this with emery cloth. However, the worst thing is the screw holes aren't countersunk. On a traditional strike plate, the plate is stamped in to make a recess for the screw head. With these that feature is completely missing. I had to lightly drill with an oversize bit to get the screw heads partially countersunk. The brass is too thin to do a thorough job. I would gladly have paid more to get a better quality product.

I needed an extra long door stop and US Homeware Inc./Doorware.com sold one. I could get it in a variety of finishes AND it arrived the following day! A day ahead of time! It fit perfectly, was easy to install and provided 2 different colored rubber tips on the end.

Horrible quality! Do not buy panic hardware from them

Complete disappointment! Ordered 3 "heavy Duty" panic bar sets from them. Flimsy, stamped metal, weak springs, poor tumbler action. We will end up throwing them away after 2 weeks! Architect said he could not believe the poor quality!. Recommend shopping else wear! They don't return after install. Hard to know how bad they are when in the box!

Great place to get hardware. I have gotten new locks, keys, and even a security bar for my rear exit door at my business. They are great because you can order online and if you have a question or need help they have friendly and knowledgeable staff that are happy to help if you give them a call.

Terrible descriptions on their site led to 2 returns and outrageous restocking fees for overpriced products. Would suggest never doing business with them.

I've gotten many things from them over the years. ADA bars for bathrooms, and other rooms (even using door pulls for grab handles on a shower for an elderly relative). Hinges, door (lever) knobs. The best thing is that they actually stock the stuff right there. Good prices, good service. Easy to deal with. Lot's of choices.
