The Marine Science Center is a sea turtle and seabird rehabilitation hospital and environmental learning center serving Volusia County. It is a small place with big experiences, offering many interesting exhibits. Guests can enjoy hands-on aquarium exhibits and a popular stingray touch tank for close-up encounters. They can view rehabilitating sea turtles receiving medical care on the Turtle Terrace and visit the seabird rehabilitation sanctuary. The facility is a rescue and rehabilitation center where animals look well taken care of. Informative daily presentations and lectures are incredible, educational, and hands-on. The dedicated, engaging, professional, and very knowledgeable staff is great with kids and very helpful. It is a clean, great organization and an awesome, delightful, essential, and inspirational experience for both young and old. A visit includes exploring a nature trail and a nice gift shop, easily filling 1.5 to 2 hours. The low price offers good value, and a season pass pays for itself.
