This company is a scam - they are trying to double dip on tank rental fees for a house I no longer own and know for certain the new owner set up her own account and is paying the rental fees - I finally paid a bill I did not owe because $60 isn't worth having collection companies on my credit report - Numerous phone calls and cancellations in writing and they still continue to bill me and the new owner - UNBELIEVABLE - and, by the way, you can get gas much cheaper from other companies - They are a racket! - Negative star rating - do your research and use someone else.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!. Was a keep full customer for years, when AmeriGas bought out Sawyers their customer service went straight down the tubes. Ran out of gas back in October 2020, made attempts to have gas delivered to no avail. Call the customer service billing number several times to try and get issue resolved and have tank removed. Have confirmation numbers that the bill was no longer due and they would pick up the tank that was October of this year!. Received another bill with dual late fees just yesterday, again contacted Billing office and got a case number and hopefully this will resolve if not the only other option I have is to get attorneys involved. Do not use this company!!!

I don't usually do reviews. BUT. The customer service from wherever it is. My guess is not the USA. Is not good at all. Nice people trying hard but really have know idea what their doing. The techs that came to install the tank and repair a leak did a great job. That's the only reason I stayed with them.

Run from Amerigas. Multiple screw ups by them but the worst: Ordered a tank of gas explaining my pool service company by accident left the pool heater on and used all my gas. Amerigas filled the tank per my request. Later in the day, an Amerigas technician cut my gas off and left a note in the hole in the ground where the gas hookup is located. No call, no notice on the door, just locked me out the day before Thanksgiving. Sorry excuse for a company.

Did you pay for service where Amerigas should keep your tank from running out of gas? Cause they have a deal for you! Have your home run out of gas on a Holiday week! Complete with the inability to take hot showers, cook food, or heat your home. All with the added luxury of family coming to visit. But don't worry, they're here to help! They'll come out and bring more gas in a couple of days probably, and even waive the $300 fee to rush your refill...that you should never have to pay in the first place, because you pay to keep it full in the first place!Oh and do you want to switch to a better company? Too bad! We're the only game in town!

Customer service # has been moved to overseas. You can no longer talk to the local office for help. Moved into this house in May in Jax Beach. Was never informed that I was on will call. Called today to ask for a fill as I cannot read the dial. They inform me that I have 3% left in tank. If I want emergency fill its an additional $300 or I can get expedited for $200 plus cost of fill. I was never informed of this either! They also tell me I am in line for $140.00 safety inspection fee at time of fill! I asked to speak to a local manager and they could not transfer me to the JAX OFFICE. I asked to speak to an overseas customer service supervisor and he told me that I would be wasting my time! There are a lot of great local propane gas companies in town like D&D Gas.... use them not Amerigas! If they knew that I was under 20% why did they not call or email or text?

DO NOT USE THIS SERIVCE. These people will take you for every penny you have. We just bought a house and they are trying to strong arm us into service with crazy fees because its their tank. There are tons of other services that install tanks for FREE so let AmeriGas have their tank back and stop robbing people blind.

Manny Magana service technician with Amerigas worked fast and explained the steps he took. He was polite and professional. He did an outstanding job. He gave us excellent service.

Communication with the office is terrible. I have been trying to get my delivery for the past 3 days now. My order was put in a week ago, but they have been delaying my delivery. Found out that the driver ran out of gas yesterday 8/31, but supposed to be here today. now, customer service is telling me that my delivery isn't showing on a route yet. Nobody will return my calls when asked to speak with a manager. Nobody can give me an actual delivery date or time on when the delivery will be made. I have ran out of gas waiting on them to deliver. This is horrible customer service. I would give no stars, if I could, at this point.

2nd time this year our "to keep full" tank has gone empty. 8am call to company, they promised delivery that day. Not delivered. After second call, promised again for that day. Not delivered. 3rd call, notes say driver couldn't find tank (they installed it and I have been a customer for 14 years). No one bothered to knock on the door or call our telephone for an emergency delivery! They will not give you a time window so you can't know when they will be there. I asked to speak to a manager: answer, managers don't take telephone calls, they will try to call you back within 24 hours for your complaint. They will also try to reschedule a delivery within 24 hours. BTW there is a yellow flag they installed next to the tank saying buried gas line. Unless you like cold showers, not being able to cook, wash dishes, dry clothes and grill, run don't walk from this company.

Since Amerigas has bought out Sawyer gas locally, they use an offshore company to take payments and schedule deliveries. They also charge $200 for rushed delivery service, and tack on other fees if you run out of gas before delivery. No one offshore can tell you when your scheduled date of delivery is, even after taking a payment. Plus you have to constantly listen carefully while a rooster screams in the background of wherever customer service is to have a conversation.

BAD BAD BADTHEY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE ELDERLY!You should not do business with this company!!They do dangerous irresponsible installations. Be very careful. Call have your installtion checked out.!
