This pharmacy is a true gem. I am greeted by name and treated like family when I pick up my medicine. Half the time I just stop by while shopping to say hello. The pharmacists are very knowledgeable and always there to answer my questions. The technicians are always so nice and helpful too. I would never take my business anywhere else.

As another review mentioned, KEVIN, I concur--Kevin is the only pharmacist there that knows how to do his job COMPETENTLY! I wish I could say the same for the second pharmacist and now a new one???! Sadly, there appears to be a high turn over of staff. I feel bad for the newest techs (young, fresh out of school) as they don't seem to have diligent, helpful role models. The only techs I commend is one female (sorry Idk her name!!) but both she and Cameron, are highly friendly, attentive and even greet me warmly by name--making me feel welcome and non judged. My last visit there, I saw a new pharmacist whom was very short (irritated) with me and a new, (super nice) young tech that wasn't helped when he obviously needed assistance checking me out (no qualms with him, just the lack of teamwork!!) The main female pharmacist is always glued to her computer and rarely speaks to patients. Also, in the past, that pharmacist told me, on a Monday, to come back on SUNDAY to get my overdue rx filled (her excuse was it wasn't in stock) I came back on Wednesday to pick up another rx and tried dropping off the previous rx and the tech, Cameron I believe, said it could be ready in 40 minutes...! It just makes me feel like the female pharmacist is either overwhelmed with rx's and is understaffed and/or lacks qualified competent help, or she's lazy and giving patients misinformation due to her convenience. If Kevin and the few familiar, FRIENDLY techs I've seen in the last year aren't there, I'm changing pharmacies. this is ridiculous!

Mike the pharmacy tech was absolutely the best! He walked me through downloading the public pharmacy app and helped me figure out everything I needed to do to get my prescriptions filled fast and as cheap as possible!!!! Thank you Mike!!

Publix Pharmacy in Sawgrass, Front Street, Ponte Vedra Beach, Fl is not a good pharmacy.Example: I dropped some of my pills for levothyroxine on the floor. The technician said I was too early to refil my prescription and wanted to charge me a lot of money for the small number of pills I needed to make it to my date to refill the meds. I told him a state statute required them to either give me enough pills to make it for this short period or refill my prescription for 90 days instead of charging me than it would cost to refill for 90 days for a certain number of pills until the refill date. He disagreed and argued with me. So much for Publix's promise to give you a happy shopping experience. The pharmacist who was this middle aged white man over heard us. He interrupted and took up for his young male employee against me. I left and came home and called my insurance company. They said the pharmacist should have told me that I was within the period of time before a refill date that they are supposed to let you refill if you have lost or misplaced your pills. There also is a state law that requires pharmacist to give you pills for several days to tide you over if you need the medication.

The employees here are outstanding. They Are always willing to go above and beyond to help in anyway possible. I had one of the techs go out of her way to find the best coupon deal for one of the medications I was on. This took her 15 mins, and was not part of “her job” nor is it something she is required to do. This in itself may not seem like a big deal, because at most Publix pharmacies there are 3,4,5+ employees working behind the counter... HOWEVER. This one has TWO PEOPLE AT ALL TIMES... 1 pharmacist, and 1 tech... which is CRAZY considering this location is in a very busy area. There are countless large neighborhoods within a 5 miles radius, and yet they have 2 people working this pharmacy. I hardly ever leave reviews, but this is my 5th time walking into this pharmacy just to wait an absurd amount of time to either drop off/pick up my script. I am talking about a 15/20 min wait for a line of 2 or 3 people... ALL because The pharmacy wants to pay the minimum amount of employees to get the job done. Even if it
