This is a great AAA office.Inside a municipal building it is clean well staffed and organized. There is even security at the door, though that is a bit suspect.Went in for a parking sticker and was helped within 5 minutes. There is a take- a- number setup to keep order. With 15 minutes and 29 dollars lighter, we had the sticker and were leaving.Second year back here and still impressed.

If you don’t have AAA, you should get it. We were planning our first really special lunch since moving here but had a flat tire on the way. We called service connected to our auto insurance with no luck. We called Triple A and within just minutes a tow truck towed us to Sam’s Club nearby where we did a little shopping after a piece of their pizza (which is really good) and were on our way in just a few minutes. Thank goodness I decided to continue with AAA, whom I have had for years. That evening, we had dinner at a very elite restaurant. Actually, Sam’s pizza was better!

I am so glad I found this office and the staff back in Jun 2021 when I relocated to Florida. Everyone at this location is top notch. They take the time to answer questions and explain things. Big shout out to Cyndy Kaighn who is a great agent. She gets things done from adding coverage to our home owners policy to removing/adding vehicles to the policy.

They are helping me transition my car and license to Florida.Although I was told by them Florida insurance rates are among the highest, they were able to quote me a price that was about the same as I was paying before, with better options like disappearing deductible and claim forgiveness. Also, so far a very positive experience with applying for and using their AAA Credit Card, which gives rather nice benefits.

I had the worst experience yesterday with AAA roadside assistance. My car’s starter died while I was away from home. I requested a tow. 3.5 hours later a truck finally came. It was 92 degrees and then it rained with lightning. When I would check on updates of tow truck status I noticed the address was wrong. I had told the person on the phone that I was at Advanced Auto. The address on the AAA map showed I was at Wendy’s. I called to correct the info and later called back for an update. AAA had me at Auto Zone across the street. My update said the tuck arrived but there was no truck. Then it said 5 minutes. For the next hour it said 5 minutes. I never had an update from the driver of the tow truck or AAA. When the driver finally called he said he was at AutoZone which was the wrong location. I cancelled my AAA membership and will now use Progressive Insurance roadside assistance. My mother is 99 years old and has dementia and was home alone during this debacle. What should have been a 5 minute quick trip took 3.5 hours. Thanks a lot AAA for being so incompetent.

AAA sold me a subscription despite my location being a non-service area for their company. I only found this out when my vehicle was stranded and I requested a tow. After a couple days with a service request several representatives told me "they were working on my request". More than once they canceled my service request without notice or explanation. When I called they would appologize and put in a "new request". They finally confessed they didn't service my area and offered a refund. Last week I found out they still continue to sell subscriptions to my area to other unsuspecting people not aware they won't actually cover or help you during any auto emergencies as listed under their covered services. I dont think what they are doing is legal and someone should definitely look into this. It's a classic scamming business model of getting people to pay subscriptions to a service that's not being offered where they live.

About a month ago, I booked a cruise through AAA via the phone. I stopped by the Port Charlotte office to pick up my luggage tags and boarding pass. Both were ready as promised. I also found the staff to be very friendly, and professional!

Thanks to the agent that took care of me that day. Unfortunately, I don’t know the gentleman’s name. I’m gonna save a whole bunch of money on my auto insurance.
