“The Port Charlotte location on Tamiami Trail is the best car rental location I have used in the area. The car my wife and I rented was excellent to drive and very clean. The agent that assisted us at both pick up and drop off was wonderful to work with. Reyna Alvarez was very professional, friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this specific location. Other locations I have used have not been as pleasant of an experience.”

“I’m leaving this review because I feel that Avis should be aware of a serious situation involving their employee, Brittany Cross.

About two months ago, my wallet was stolen, and afterward, $450 was taken from my debit card. The transaction was associated with Brittany’s name, and I have evidence that leads me to believe she was responsible.

I’ve attempted to contact Brittany multiple times through Facebook to give her an opportunity to explain what happened or clear her name, but she has never responded. I understand that an accusation this serious should be supported by evidence, which is why I have kept documentation of what happened.

I’m not claiming that her lack of response alone proves anything, but it is extremely concerning that I have repeatedly tried to contact her about the stolen wallet and $450 charge and have received no response whatsoever.

I believe Avis should be aware of this situation and investigate it appropriately, especially considering that this involves an employee and a significant amount of money.”
