The system won't allow a rating less that one star, or this would not have any stars at all!Terrible service. Scripts are not refilled in a timely manner even when you call the pharmacy and they give you a pick up time. You'll get there for pickup and still wait another 15 minutes because it's not ready.

Cvs pharmacy is terrible. I have decided part of the problem is the pharmacist doesn't understand English as well if she should. It's a very busy pharmacy we need someone more competent. When I was there yesterday a customer called her dumb as dirt.

Walgreens is worse however that being stated... I'm a critical care RN WHOM has been on thyroid medication since 2012, I do not take the usual prescribed thyroid medication and I need different dosing for the one I do take that requires two different pills. One dose is 15 mg and the other is 60 mg, to equal 75 mg dose that is required for my hormonal function to be within normal range. CVS has screwed this up for 3 years every 3 months, I either get one dose refilled if 60 mg or 15mg, and every time I go there they always have to fix this issue, does not matter whether I personally make sure the tech or pharmacist themself puts it in their antiquated system, it's always (with the exception of 1time), wrong. It's like no one reads anymore and checks right drug, right dose, right person, right route, right time. There's also the fact that because my career is shift work 12 hours a day avg 3 days a week in icu setting I cannot just take my time and call them and continuously get the problem fixed because 1. I do call and it's automated and sucks 2. I'm in terminal holding pattern and when they do answer (which includes the pharmacist from time to time) they hang up and 3. Most days I'm off they are either not open when I can call or they just don't bother answering. It doesn't matter which way I/we try to rectify this problem, it still exists! I know as a healthcare provider and worker about the shortages in healthcare staff, such as nursing and pharmacy techs and pharmacists, it's a thankless job many days. However I only wish that they whom work at this particular establishment put in a minimal amount of effort to actually acknowledge this issue and address the problem I have had by either reading the actual order. From my physician and understanding what I take and how much I need in dosage or communicate with me via in person or on phone the steps they take to make sure they are correct. It's actually considered a medication error on their part, but not a single soul dose anything to correct it and help me, their customer with it. Not to mention ( which is not cvs responsibility I think) the 75 mg dose of thyroid medication I take is one dose and yet I am charged for two doses when I do get both ( happened once, and it is expensive bc it is not considered a standard treatment or formulary drug for my prescription plan I pay for from my job)

Horrible customer service. If my insurance didn't have them as a preferred pharmacy I never would've used this disgrace of a pharmacy. The customer service here is the worst I've seen in my 51 years. I had a good rx coupon code and the rude cashier said I would have to wait 20 min to my my scripts. Asked to just get the others at this time and get the Zyrtec later. She said it would still be 20 min because they were all rang up together. Funny that Walmart and Walgreens can take a script coupon and alter the original sale in under a minute. So I will definitely be switching my scripts. Don't bother going here unless you want to be treated poorly and waste an hour of your day.

The customer service at this pharmacy is awful. They do not answer their phones. I got hung up on multiple times and finally went up in person. I was told bc the pharmacist their phone are "broken" but when I asked the lady working the cash register up front how long it's been "broken" she said she wasn't aware of any phone issues. I called today and surprise! They did end up picking up their "broken" phone. Don't waste your time. Go somewhere else.

Chose this location despite the ratings but I should have listened. Waited 20 minutes in line behind one car before deciding to leave. Not sure what could take that long in a pharmacy drive through.

We like the location of this CVS, but the pharmacy is just not helpful nor customer oriented. I have had CVS as our go to pharmacy for years, but this one, is not very good at all. We have had 3 issues with this pharmacy since moving to Port Charlotte and to be fair, I spoke with another pharmacist about our concerns, outside from CVS. Each issue we spoke to this pharmacist about, they were perplexed as to why they did what they did, just as we were. The only solice is, it affirmed the customer service at this location needs some corporate intervention. Unfortunately, the corporate office does not read the reviews. So, we are going to change where we purchase our prescriptions from. It is a shame to have to do it after years of being a CVS customer, but it is time to move on.

Please please please choose another pharmacy! This one never answers the phone, the staff is rude and unhelpful. I'm calling the store manager today to complain. I wish the system would allow me to give NO STARS!

This is the worst pharmacy by far!! One there hours say until 9 yet they closed at 8. Two my son is prescribed ADHD meds and is supposed to have them daily or there is very bad side effects. The doctor called them in days ahead of time and they promised they would for sure have them the day he ran out. Well the day came and I called asking if it's ready. I get told no. I said well he needs it he is getting a bad migraine from not having it so can you transfer to any cvs i don't care how far I have to drive he says no. I told him he promised it would be there and now my son is suffering because his word. he said sorry nothing I can do. I said please look up side effects of not taking the meds how you're supposed to and read them to me because I want you to know what your putting my child through. He put me on hold 2 minutes and then came back apologizing saying he did in fact have the meds! This place is a joke!!! If I could give no stars I would!!

Waited over 15 minutes for someone to answer the phone. The medication was sent over at 1:00 from Med Express. I did not receive a text saying it was ready. The lady was rude on the phone. This will be the last time I send it over to this CVS on Veterans Blvd.

Why can't this store have someone in pharmacy help the drive thru customers, they are always short staffed and gave to wait so long in the pharmacy drive thru. Been sitting 20 minutes and still waiting for the car ahead of me to get waited on . If my insurance wasn't here, I would not be using this pharmacy. it has been 2 hours since my prescription was called in. Just praying it is actually ready. The wait continues, ugh
