Ollie's Pond Park is a hidden nature gem nestled in a neighborhood, offering a 1-mile trail through a mix of natural landscape and maintained paths with benches. Visitors can enjoy spotting birds, turtles, and other wildlife on the peaceful pond. The shaded areas and clean restrooms make it a great spot for an easy stroll or a family-friendly nature walk. While fishing opportunities are limited, the park is well-suited for canoeing and kayaking. With multiple dog poop bag stands, it's also a dog-friendly destination. Although more benches around the water would be appreciated, Ollie's Pond Park provides a quick, refreshing escape into nature for the local community.
Clean outdoor walking trail nestled back in a neighborhood. Its about a 20 min walk around the pond. Open 6am to 9pm. Dogs welcome and pet clean up stations available.

So sad it has gotten so small and overgrown since Ian totally altered the flora and shoreline. I wish Port Charlotte would treat it like the treasure it is. Such a lovely habitat.
