Nice clean store. All you could ask for. One of the young men that works there was extremely short and rude with me. Usually Publix employees are smiling and Edgar to help. It was just 1 young kid though. Consider the age and move on. Publix deserved 5 stars. That kid deserves a 1

This is the closest publix to where we live. However, it is the publix of last resort for us!
This store routinely does not have in stock the items in the weekly ad that are on sale. This is not a once or twice occurrence. It is all of the time. When asked they have 2 replies: 1. It sold out already - or 2. We didn't get any on the truck. This is on the 1st (Thursday) or the second (Friday) day of the sale. If you come Tuesday or Wednesday - forget it, they will have the shelves cleared of any sale/bogo merchandise.
But yet if we drive to another publix... they have all of it in stock.

Natalia in the Deli is amazing. We came in a few min after 7pm no tenders were available. I had 10 kids to feed. Natalia saved the day and made us a fresh batch. Thank You!!!!

This review is about the Publix on bayshore in Port Charlotte. The deli closes at 9pm. At 7:05 pm I asked if they had any fried chicken or chicken fingers or wings. The answer was no, we are closing. I mentioned I thought you close at 9pm. Sorry we have shut things down was the response. Why didn’t they precook any fried chicken, chicken strips or wings? There were 4 employees that I could see. 3 doing nothing and one holding a broom. I asked if they could cook some since they don’t close for 2 hours. Answer was no. Before I walked away a group of 5 people and one other person asked the same question as they approached behind me. The woman told them the same thing. No, we are closing. These employees were just standing around. They didn’t have any hot food at all except for rotisserie chicken at 7:05. I can understand if it was 8 and they closed at 9pm, but it was a Saturday night at 7:05. They didn’t even have any precooked. This is what happens when lazy employees run the department. Obviously I can’t say that about all of them, but I can say that about who was in charge of the deli that night. That Publix deli has lost my business for life. How much money is the store losing because of a lazy person in charge? Just in 5 minutes at 7:10 I witnessed 6 other people walk away without purchasing anything from the deli because they were out of almost everything.
