The lady in the liquor store is the worst. The one there on 1/5/2024 around 10am to be exact. She may just be the rudest person I have come across. This isn't a one time thing either. Once, maybe someone is having a bad day. Multiple times, you're just a miserable grouch that should not be in a public facing job.

Don’t shop at BJs if you look young! I had an old lady who worked there who was ageist towards me and stereotyped me. I am older than what I look like and she accused me of stealing when I was just trying to scan my groceries & didn’t want to send my meat down the conveyer belt. I’ve never had a problem at BJs ever until this experience and now I don’t plan on renewing my membership because I would rather spend my money elsewhere where an old lady won’t be ageist towards me along with being rude and disrespectful. Someone needs to work on her people skills and learn how to approach people

Updated to 1 star…I have been sent expired product multiple times on multiple orders. Honestly the lack of controls as a company is horrible. Get your act together as a company bjs.Ultimately if I am purchasing for myself or as a family I will not usually pass the multitude of other stores and groceries to come to BJs. I would rather honestly shop Target or Publix. But if I am shopping in bulk for my business in terms of resale and or wholesale, this is when I am shopping at BJs. That said… it’s hard to quickly, efficiently, and consistently buy here as I need.First:In stocks aren’t very consistent. Products seem to run their cycle very quickly and then become discontinued or obsolete ( that or just never in stock when I need).2nd:Being that I purchase as a resale option the cashiers must press a tax exempt button after every scan… this sometimes adds an extra 5 mins onto a transaction as the hopeless cashier walks back and forth between scanning and pressing the button. Help your team, customer’s, and efficiency by trying to streamline this process.Third:As atated above (in buying in bulk). Bjs is a discount club … within this platform your goal is for your customers to buy in bulk (or one would think), but the registers and checkout process heavily lean towards smaller purchases (15 items or less). On my last visit 6 checkouts were open on self scan (15 items or less) whereas 1 actual register with a cashier was open.I think I’m just as confused as BJs on who their targeting as a demographic ??♂️

One regular cashier, half the self checkouts down, employees standing around watching you wait in line. This is the BJs experience. Not renewing my membership.

I bought a tv online and immediately tried to cancel the order after I decided to go bigger. No luck, of course! I went to the store first thing the next morning and they would not cancel it. I had to complete the purchase and then get a refund back to my paypal account. What a scam this turned out to be, 1 week later still no refund. Called the main customer service (in what sounded like India of course) and I was told processing a paypal refund can take 2-3 weeks! Are you f'n kidding! Sadly I bought a defective tv and from another store(BBuy) which I also had to return. BB refunded on the spot and I immediately received an email from paypal showing the refund. Tell me why Bjs holds on to your hard earned money for weeks? That is absolutely unethical and thievery. Before I knew of their unethical practices, I did end up with a tv from bjs which I wish I would NOT have given them the business. If I still had the box I'd return it because of this. BTW- good luck getting gas here because their pumps are ridiculously slow and have been for as long as Ive been a member. always a minimum half hour wait. Change your fn filters and don't steal peoples money! Very upset with this store.

Bjs shame on you, you guys took out the bjs water at 3.99 to sell one for 6.99 when we only have a tropical storm watch really? This shouldn’t be allow, in a town where majority of people are elders.

I've been a member for over a year now, we started out loving this place... as time goes by it's starting to become an issue with staff and customer service.. self check out is a nightmare, you can't even scan one without needing assistance. But today was the absolute worst!! We were excited to get the Capitol One Bjs credit card and wanted to use it. However NO ONE KNEW HOW TO APPLY IT TO OUR PURCHASES, we had the app attached to the card to use until they mailed us the actual card. Yet when we went to check out NO ONE knew how to use the app to pay for our groceries. We spent over an hour fighting with staff to help us. We even called Capitol ONE who explained they should know how to scan the card off our membership. The guest services woman screamed at us and said I quote "I DONT HAVE TIME FOR THIS OR YOU!!" as she slammed her scanner onto the computer and kept suspending our groceries. FINALLY after the 2hour point we had to use the express pay and scan our groceries separately.. the two staff finally helped us after the line went down in check out. I will be calling cooperate and canceling my membership. Disgusting behavior towards your members just because YOU don't know how to use the credit card that YOU ARE PROMOTING AT YOUR CHECK OUTS AND CUSTOMER SERVICES!! Re training is a must here in all areas!!

Paid for the membership to get better gas prices and better prices on food. The gas lines are so long all because the pumps aren’t serviced and they run so slow. Takes about 20 minutes to fill up my car. And the pump handle is broken on pump 11 so I have to hold the handle for 20 minutes. This is what I’m paying for???

Just save the money on the membership, they are usually sold out and the gas station is either 57 cars deep or just completely closed. The club doesn’t offer any other services but general shopping and a gas station.

If I could give negative stars I would. I’m a new member today. Scanned my items at the self check out and it said I needed assistance and started flashing. 2 employees stood there, looked at it and walked away. I waited several minutes and no help so I walked out . At the door I informed the elderly man checking carts that I left everything at checkout . He basically shrugged his shoulders ! No wonder the parking lot was empty. I will be cancelling and requesting a refund. This place is horrible

So yesterday I went here and bought a 12 pack of hotdogs I had a amazing experience Franklin was the salesman he asked if I wanted to chok on his hotdog so I said yes I had so much fun he started saying I sucked his soul I was like your still alive though I have no clue what he was talking about but he starting making white sauce as a side??
