I am allergic to the generic of 1 of my meds. I have ADHD so yeah, it is controlled. The generic does not work, causes me to break out in a rash, sweat, vomit, become very irritated and it does not touch upon what it is prescribed for. My dr writes in that I can ONLY take the brand name due to an allergic reaction with the generic. The brand name for whatever reason does not cause any of these side effects and does what it should do for my disorder. This pharmacist said “we don’t do those favors”. You don’t do favors, or you don’t do your job? I calmly explained my allergic reaction to 1, and that the other one treated what I needed it for. I am curious as to if he would have acted the same if it were insulin or a beta blocker. I have contacted the headquarters, and them hearing a pharmacist telling a patient “we don’t do those favors” as in ordering a brand name that is not in stock which the person is allergic to the generic, come Tuesday this pharmacist may lose his license. The new woman on the phone was extremely apologetic and confirmed what he did was illegal, especially given the exact type of healthcare I am on. Hopefully this man will be gone, and he can go work somewhere where the lives of others do not at a certain degree depend on whether or not he wants to do his job, which he calls “favors”. He has hung up on me a few times now while being extremely rude. I’ve read another review say the same, as well as a few friends. Good luck from corporate.

Taking my business elsewhere and advise everyone else to do the same especially after reading the other reviews that mimic mine... Doctor's office sent them a prescription and CVS staff
cancelled it. Rather than tell me they cancelled it, they said they never received my prescription so my doctor's office staff and I both wasted valuable time trying to figure out what was going on.
It turns what was going on is they are ignorantly presumptuous, pretentiously acrimonious, and stunningly inept.
My doctor's office was rudely informed that my prescription was cancelled because it should have gone (in their opinion) elsewhere and the doctor's office was not allowed to call in the prescription 🤦♀️🤦♀️

Been going here for years and used to love them... Absolutely garbage now :( They say prescriptions weren't received when in actuality they were cancelled by the pharmacist. Absolutely rude to my doctors office when they tried to sort things out... Taking our business elsewhere and encourage everyone else to do so as well.

Would give less than a star if I could. Was only at this pharmacy for 2 months or so, because my insurance company was pushing it. The pharmacy or store will never get ny business as long as I'm alive enough said!

Rudest pharmacist of the year award. I went in because I had a pick up for Walgreens, and rather than politely telling me "this is CVS, Walgreens is across the street" for some reason the guy felt it necessary to say "if u go out the front door and look up, what does it say on the sign...?"
If u can't handle simple customer service situations, find a new job, bro.

I work for a doctor’s office and work with pharmacies on almost a daily basis. I have NEVER been disrespected the way that I was today on the phone with Jerry at this CVS. He blatantly lied to a customer, either out of ignorance or malice, I’m not sure. When I called to figure out how to resolve the problem, he refused to let me speak and then hung up on me. I cannot believe that CVS would stand behind this absolute liability, but judging by the previous comments, they seem to be. A formal complaint has been made to corporate and we will be sure to direct future potential customers to ANY other pharmacy.

Will not fill my pain medication from CVS in New York. I am a cancer patent and JERRY refused to fill my pain medication so I can function in what days I have left. Pharmacist Jerry said the Dea wrote him a letter and I quote
"THE dea said I can not fill narcotics from a different state or county" . We were here on vacation̈ and had to got to the hospital.
I think Jerry should be FIRED. I have never been hurting so bad.

Called several times no answer at the pharmacy called the store person said it depends on which pharmacist is on to answer the phone Where is the customer service. Unprofessional and inconvenient.

Honestly just want to say how amazing this pharmacy is. I just saw a bunch of bad reviews and it makes me wonder how.
Maybe a few years ago but not in the last year that I’ve been going.
My toddler seems to be prone to catching any and every sickness that anyone has. & it’s always the most inconvenient times when the pharmacy is either REALLY busy or about to close. Yet Jerry is always able to take care of us.
Tonight was no exception. I went in 25 minutes before closing just to see if there was any possibility of getting my toddlers prescription that was sent in an hour before. I knew there was a big chance it might not be possible and I wasn’t going to argue or make my case because I saw how busy they were.
However, the person up front was super kind and understanding of my toddlers age and the pharmacist Jerry ( who is always top tier nice/understanding) was able to expedite it for me.
I do not expect in the future for that to happen and I will never assume that will happen again. But Jerry is always really great at working with me even when I’m sure it’s crazy on his end.
I just want to say how much I appreciate him and the team. As a mom, it’s really hard to see my kids suffer and being able to rely on my pharmacy is huge.
Thank you again. ( I think the pharmacists name is “ Jerry” if not then I’m sorry! )
