As much as I dread having car problems and having to pay for car repairs, Total Tire always makes it a pleasant experience ! They have a great team who are knowledgeable and get things done !

First of all - let’s say I’m left guessing what is the diagnosis of 2005 Ford Mustang- we had the car towed because left us stranded. No start. They put on diagnostic machine. When we went to get car, had to ask what the problem is because they didn’t furnish the paperwork involved in this very complex case. They said technician said that the car needs inspection by Ford dealership because ECM is bad. How is it that everyone thinks that everyone can afford high dollar dealership charges? The ECM is on a firewall that is easy to get to. The program ECM was ordered along with keys to match the programming. To this day, the car is still not starting, no transportation no assurance that the diagnosis of ECM is correct because no paperwork. Well here we go to spend more money on more towing to go to a different mechanic shop. Also, the ECM is back in the factory because they’re checking to see if they programmed it wrong. I can’t believe that Ford Mustang is so difficult to figure out. How can people think that we have tons of towing money to go to different places to get different opinions? I sure hope we don’t find out that it’s the starter after all this mess. Yet, it would be OK to find out that it’s the starter because then we don’t have to deal with computer programming, and all the trouble that goes with it and all the rip off charges too. Total care, I recommend you give everyone a piece of paper with diagnostic codes whether you charged them one dollar or $1000 to check the car. - I can't find where to answer to Joe who posted about not liking the one star. I was hoping an apology for not giving us documentation on the repair code that came up on your diagnostic machine. Our frustration is beyond words at this point -and though the car is 20 years old, not everyone has the means $$$ to buy a 2018 or newer car. I think using the age of the car is discriminatory - and I did not hear anyone at you place of business say it was or is due to the car's age that the programming cannot take place. I believe most car repair businesses cannot program the ECM; it's not just Total Care &Service in port orange, across from wal-mart. There are lots of mechanic shops and though some charge for diagnostic, those are the ones I'm picking from now on - the greed can come from not charging for diagnostic, I am not sure.

Got my car’s engine fixed here and it was a fantastic experience. They other a ton of services. All the staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. They were able to order a part and install in the same day. Very quick and efficient. Will bring my car here again in the future!

Id almost forgotten what a pleasure it was to deal with a family owned business. Its a completley different type of customer service, they actually care.

Total Tire & Service is a great local garage just minutes from NSB in Port Orange. The owner/Joe is helpful and honest and I highly recommend his garage. If he does not work on a type of car he will direct you to who can. Love that!

I have been going here for years. I love that there hasn’t been turnover in the front office staff, as that makes it seem like they are consistent and a good place to work. They are always fair on price and don’t tell me to do unnecessary maintenance. They also let my husband know when it was worth fixing his car and it wasn’t. I took my car in today for an oil change and they washed my windshield which was such a nice touch. I also brought my friend in and they more accurately diagnosed her issue and saved her thousands of dollars, over what her original mechanic had quoted. This is a great business!
