OVER $500 FEE FOR BASIC SERVICE!!!!
I have been coming to this place to do my taxes for almost 15 years!!!! I was an extremely loyal customer! My taxes are extremely simple and straightforward. Every year is pretty much the same. I make myself all the calculations and bring them with me. The tax person simply clicks the mouse and put the ready info. The whole process takes no more than about 25 minutes. As I said. Very straightforward and simple. BUT EVERY YEAR the amount I had to pay for the service was getting bigger and bigger and BIGGER!!!
This year I PAID OVER $500(!!!!)
SAVE YOURSELF SOME MONEY!
DO IT YOURSELF FOR FREE
OR GO ELSEWHERE, where you can get the same thing done for $100
WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!!!

I went there to get taxes done first time at a place like this. I walked in the facility was clean and the receptionist was nice and professional. The tax advisor Fred W. Fred was professional and kind. He had turned my frown upside down literally. It was because he was kind and funny. Thank you for being a nice professional that cares. I had a pleasant experience and would go back because of that.

Fred Willams (a personal friend of my husband’s) has been doing our taxes the entire marriage. We always file early. I knew my soon-to-be ex, (I’m in the midst of a divorce) was filing at some point in February. He would not communicate what date that was. In years past I always signed the returns in-person. I called the Port Orange office 2 times leaving messages asking about the tax return as my ex refused to share any info. I was told to access a portal he, my ex, maybe set up? He would not respond re: log in info or provide any tax documents. I finally accessed via IRS website to see he HAD filed married, filing jointly, and then pocketed the entire (rather larger) return! The problem is I never gave permission for either of them to sign for me, I never implied consent to sign for me. One or both of them illegally signed a joint tax return and thus ensured my ex was deposited the entire amount into an account I have never had access to during this entire marriage. This is fraudulent. It’s not okay in the slightest and fairly bad business to conduct yourself this way, especially during a divorce.

Their employee made a mistake on our return which cost me hours on the phone and two trips to the bank to figure out. They charged us $365 for the preparation and want to refund us $100! So I paid $265 for what???? Stacey Hapern handled the complaint (not the person who made mistake) and told me someone would get back with us but not to expect much. No one reached out for days and when I finally called… they were offering $100 refund. What happened to 100% satisfaction/accuracy??

After procrastinating on filing my taxes for quite a few years, I explained my situation to Amani Youssef and she was able to go back 3 years with the use of my irs tax transcripts and get me a decent return. Thank you!

Ayat at the Port Orange location was frustrated and impatient, had poor customer service skills and insulted my income. This past year was full of hardship and she has no empathy or respect for clients of different economic status. Questions about what fees I was paying were met with eye rolls and an over all implication that I was somehow wasting HER time, but for close to 300$, she should have been more understanding about my concerns. Tax "experts" should have an overall sense of wanting to assist people with their taxes, not act demanding and hurried when clients want to learn more about how the services work. 1/5 I'll never use this service again and suggest others do the same.

Angelo Infantino helped me today and he was very knowledgeable and such a wonderful person. You could tell he was passionate about what he does and really wants to help people. Also he was quick and accurate, i was in and out in a short period of time. This was my first time at this branch and will be back next year because of him. Nothing but good things to say.
