Review based on Manager/Office Staff - I went to get fasting blood work at the Port Orange Labcorp location. I’ve been there many times. They showed a balance in their computer. I explained that I made payment arrangements over three months ago and it has been coming directly out of my bank each month. They said that I had to call their billing dept and have them do something to get it out if their system and they refused to see me until I paid it or until it was removed. I asked for the manager, I called the billing number while I was waiting for the manager and they confirmed on speaker phone that I already had payment arrangements and had been making payments. They gave a confirmation number. The manager would not accept that, she said they had to take it out of the system. The billing person on my phone explained to the manager that she couldn’t do that while it was in payment arrangements. The manager in port Orange made it seem like I had to pay in full before they would draw blood. She very much made it seem like I’d done something wrong. I was crying and upset at this point. She then went back to her office. They had me wait another thirty minutes before a staff member came and told me it’s good now they would do the bloodwork. It wasn’t the manager that told me this and no one even apologized for the confusion or error or whatever it was that happened on their end. This is the second time I’ve had to speak with the manager over an issue that was caused from an error by them. She was unprofessional, condescending and rude to me both times. Although this time was worse. She did not seem to want to help me at all. The front desk person was rude too, but I think she likely just follows her manager. I will not be going back to this location. I do not recommend it.

I just had my blood drawn by Lois and she was AMAZING! We had to stick me a couple of times because my vains roll. But it didn't hurt much at all and she talked to me the whole time and kept me calm. Definitely went way better than I thought it would!

5 stars for the phlebotomist her name is Louis. Very nice and calmed my anxiety by talking to me.The front desk lady with glasses on the other hand was rude when I was trying to ask a question not the kind of treatment anyone with a simple question should get I was only asking what my OBs staff told me to ask bc there was a mix up with my work order.

It's easy to check-in. The Phlebotomists are professionals and put you at ease in a heartbeat. Easy stab :-)

Absolutely worthless. Went in for labs. Gave them Medicare card and part C, Tricare card. Got bill for test Medicare didn't cover. They never sent bill to Tricare. Tried to give front desk Tricare card again to put in my file. Desk didn't want to hear it. Go to Quest Labs. Way better service

Front desk people. Not helpful at all. They tell you to check in on machines and then the dam things don’t work right. They then try to make you feel like you did something wrong. If this happened once I would be ok with it. This happens every time at this location.

Outstanding!Outstanding!Outstanding!Phenomenal customer service. I was greeted warmly as soon as I did the self check in and in the blink of an eye I was called back, blood drawn and dismissed. Definitely make an appointment! So glad I did.The facility is very clean and aseptic. Well lit and very well organized. All the staff are very friendly and I was greeted with a chorus of “good morning”.I love ❤️ this place and will DEFINITELY return.I am not computer literate but they make it so easy to schedule an appointment online and doing the self check-in at the facility. I was nervous but it is so simple and they walk you through step by step and they have photos. Kindergarten level for someone like me.Now, Quest Lab is a totally different story. It was horrific trying to schedule an appointment online; they made it so complicated and I was so frustrated that I tried calling in hopes that I would get a live person, yeah, good luck with that!So glad I read the reviews about Labcorp and they were right!I give Labcorp a perfect 10 and ???

I had a very unfortunate experience here. I made an appointment online to have labs done that I was paying out of pocket for. The front desk staff were very unhelpful and unprofessional. The manager, Tonya, got on the phone (no clue why she wasn’t there in office) and was disrespectful and lacked any customer service skills. I do not recommend this location. I was able to get my labs completed by Quest in Ormond Beach in 10 minutes with no hassle. Quest prices were much lower and the staff was much more professional than the experience I had at LabCorp in Port Orange. I hope Tonya learns to treat her customers and staff better. The way she spoke to her own employee on the phone gave me second hand embarrassment for the employee. She told her “make it fast because I’m driving” when she answered her phone. That’s despicable behavior for a manager. It’s no wonder the front desk staff are rude and unhelpful; they have absolutely no leadership or support from Tonya.

If only I could 0/5 stars. The staff is awful here. Completely unhelpful. Especially the manager Tonya. Go to a different lab this port orange one is bottom of the barrel.

Janice and Norma (I believe that was her name) ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! My son is 1 and needed labs drawn, they were so good to him and patient. They ordered in a special butterfly needle for him and did everything to make him feel comfortable as possible. (Of course he’s a baby, and freaked out) but they really went above and beyond. This will be my go to next time we need labs.

port orange labcorp will do testing that you or your doctor did not order based on other test results and they won't tell you they are doing extra testing, just bill you a week later for it after you have already paid your bill that day .What a shady practice if you're a self pay customer. Apparently this is in small print on the bottom of the form so there is no recourse.
