“We truly cannot say enough wonderful things about The Estate on the Halifax. From the very beginning, the team was incredibly professional, organized, and genuinely invested in making our wedding day perfect — and they absolutely delivered.
The venue itself is breathtaking. The historic charm, river views, and elegant grounds created the most magical and romantic backdrop for our January wedding. Every space flowed beautifully from the ceremony to cocktail hour to reception, and our guests could not stop commenting on how stunning everything was.
Our wedding day was more perfect than we ever imagined, and The Estate on the Halifax played a huge role in making that happen. “I do not have the words to express how fantastic the Mermaid and her fisherman is as an venue and how much of a joy it was to work with Melissa and her team. We threw a 60 person surprise anniversary party over the weekend and it went flawless. Then the following morning we had an intimate vow renewal. When weather didn’t corporate- Melissa figured out a beautiful plan B. By the end of the weekend we felt like family. Thank you so much for making our weekend more special than we could have ever imagined.”

“Serra Doce coffee shop is a very wonderful place to sip on coffee or tea while visiting with friends or family or playing a game of chess or making plans for your visit to Daytona. The atmosphere is very welcoming as well as the staff. They are sweet and very informative on coffee beans. I was able to meet one of the owners and was very pleased with her demeanor and welcoming character. Thank you for opening this coffee shop tucked away right next to McKay's off of Beach Street. It is what Beach Street has needed for a while!”
“Very nice rooms and common areas. Only shortcoming was the breakfast that would have been excellent if the food was served at a proper temperature. Had to dig to the bottom of the pan to find an omelette and sausage patty that was warm. Would definitely stay again. Hopefully breakfast bar attendant will be properly trained by then.”
“I used to dread coming to the area because the seats were so uncomfortable, but since the last time I came to the area, they upgraded their seats. From what I can see, every seat is like a club level seat. Nice and cushy. Good job on the seating!”

Many activities going on here (be sure to check their online schedule): figuring skating, skating competitions, hockey games and practices matches, to public skating where you can practice your moves on the ice. They also do private lessons too if you’re interested.
You can rent skates and walkers (for those that want a little stability help- they are also super fun too!)”
“Our first time coming to this event will definitely be back next year and a new tradition for us. Wow! Is all that can be said . Definitely don't try to squeeze in one day you will not see it all or will be exhausted by the end. Bring a wagon to collect your treasure found in the swap meet area. So much stuff and 1000's of cars and trucks of all kind. I was shocked this event took up the entire infield of the track. Daytona staff was a little over the top with their no rev of engines but that doesn't discredit the Turkey run. Great family friendly fun.”

“Our stay at Hyatt Place Daytona Beach – Oceanfront was absolutely fantastic! The location is unbeatable—right on the beach with breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean. Waking up to the sound of waves and enjoying coffee on the balcony was pure bliss.
The rooms were spacious, clean, and modern, with comfortable beds and plenty of amenities. We loved the oceanfront view—it made the whole experience feel like a true getaway. The hotel also offers a great lobby area for relaxing and a 24-hour e-room with computers, which came in handy for quick work tasks.
Breakfast was a nice bonus, and the staff was friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. The atmosphere throughout the property is relaxed yet stylish, making it perfect for both families and couples. Plus, being just minutes from the Daytona International Speedway and local attractions was a huge convenience.
