Whoever is making the policies in this store does not understand customer service. This is one of the worst stores in regards to policy. Dollar General needs to pay their employees more money because they work too hard. Dollar General has sucky policies and they don't live up to their name. Whoever makes the policies in the store needs to be ashamed of their self. Also, what the higher ups are doing to the customers it's borderline criminal.

For Woman who don't have your own transportation this is not the place to shop. While walking into this store today I was told I was not allowed to bring my purse into the store. I understand there is an issue with homeless and theft but as a woman who has worked in retail for over 20 years there are other ways to implement new policies that help lower theft as well as keep your customers.

Me and my family have been going to this Dollar General for 8 years and have never had a problem in fact my boys and I have always gotten along with every employee here and they always end up knowing us by name but this last manager that has started running the store decided to tell my kids tonight that some teenagers came in the store today with masks and now they cant come back in the store without me! They are 14 and 15 and very good kids I send them in and they get their candy and leave. So I went in there tonight to see what the problem was and he tried accusing my kids of coming in on scooters and causing problems they dont even own scooters! They are never in there for more than a few minutes and always use my card to buy their stuff. So needless to say I was very upset that hes having trouble with other teenagers and trying to now stereotype my kids! I will not be back in this store until there is different management! You wonder why your only people that come in are shoplifters because you treat your paying customers like they are shoplifters too so no one wants to come in your store anymore! In 8 years me nor my kids have ever had a problem with 1 employee in that store until this guy became manager! Hopefully he gets fired soon and yall get someone in there that treats paying customers with respect not like we are trash or up to no good. This manager in ruining your store!

I love my Dollar General and my staff. I go above and beyond to make this a nice shopping experience for anyone who enters the store. We heat the store, clean, neat and organized. If anyone has any questions about the store's policies? Please come to me and I will in full detail explain to you why these policies have been set in place. I just love how more people are willing to hop on and say negative things than to fully understand how a business works. I welcome each and every one of you to try to do my job and too much of all of our surprise, most of you wouldn't last. You're welcome for me providing a safe shopping place, in the poverty-stricken area. I've been placed in. Also I am in no way understaffed. I'm gonna educate you all for just one moment. My store hours are 8 AM to 9 PM, and they give me 119 hours a week to run the store. For any of you with the brain, do the math, those of you who do not have a brain stop leaving your unnecessary comments.

December 24 2024 . Corporate should check their cameras knowing that they have little children sitting on the floor behind the cash register. Employee Bringing their children to work to run free. Stores highly unprofessional . Rude customer service.

I'm surprised to read not such good reviews about this store. I've been here several times and I've personally witnessed customers giving employees a hard time. These people are just doing their job, everyone always welcome me when I walk in.
I recently had a small issue at another store and I ran into a Micaela outside. I explained the situation and she offered to just help me there. Super nice and friendly, even praised the other store.
I only gave it four stars because of the rude customers you have to encounter in there sometimes. I think all the employees I've ever encountered are just doing their job and doing it well.

Worst store in the area. I understand you get a lot of degenerates coming in, but I watched a manager tell an employee to follow some young guy with a service dog thinking he was gonna steal stuff. The guy was wearing a company shirt and didn’t look like a hobo.
Suggestion: IF you want customers, don’t harass them based on some personal bias against a specific group of people. DG corporate please take notice.

Got there last night to get some things at 8:10 and the store was closed. No sign on the door or anything. But the hours on the door said open till 9. Will not be returning to this location I will drive a little further down the road to go to the other location.

I'm a 72 year old white man. On foot I walked in this location after getting a couple things at another place. No signs on the door about the ridiculous supposed leave your bag policy. Screw you. Try profiling and follow them around instead of making the rest of us feel insulted. What am I..a gangsta rappuh? I will never shop DG again.
