I had a fantastic experience with Mike from Cost Cutters Appliance Repair. He was not only incredibly fast in diagnosing and fixing my appliance, but he was also refreshingly honest and patient with me throughout the entire process. Mike is an awesome appliance repair guy. He has helped us out on more than one occasion over the years. He gets to you as quick as he can and is honest about the price and necessity of the repair versus replacement. Always friendly and reliable. He has our business every time!

Our dryer broke 2 weeks ago and someone we had scheduled canceled on us the day of. I called several other * top* rated companies in a S.O.S attempt to get it fixed and they all had the worst attitudes once I said I’d call back to shop around. I called Mike and not only did he have the best price, but fast service and he’s extremely personable. Those qualities are very important for my family and I as We don’t support rude/pretentious people. He was also available the next day on a Friday which is a rare blessing and now we can finally dry our clothes. Not a good experience. Said he showed up but we didn't hear him ring the bell or knock on the door. Said he called and spoke with someone but did not. He was very condescending when I spoke with him about it. I do not recommend just based on his attitude about the whole situation. I would give zero stars but google wouldn't allow zero.

We made an appointment and confirmed the appointment at least 3 times with Mike at Cost Cutters. The experience was bad and was made worst by the fact that our children sat in the vehicle listening to Mike complaining and flat out refusing to do the appliance installation because we were having the driveway cleaned. Mike did not even stop by the home. Instead, he drove pass the residence and called me to say that he did not want to deal with the company that was cleaning the pavers. He assumed the company was using bleach and I informed him that was not so, and that it was just water. I asked him to speak with the Paver guy, or he could enter the home through the back door if he was uncomfortable walking on the pavers. He still refused. We were expecting 2 appliances to be installed and essentially wasted our day as we rescheduled an appointment and canceled a class to make this appointment work. It did not help that the children were with us and our little one was not even feeling well. I personally pleaded with Mike to honor the appointment but he refused. The conversation ended when he stated he could no longer hear me, and hung up the phone. My children witnessed all this. We felt so ashamed and so disrespected with the way Mike behaved. Frankly I was surprised with his behavior because I am a repeat customer from a couple years ago, and Mike was pleasant then, hence why I called. Go figure.Mike did try to call back about 2 hours after the above situation, and he also sent a text. However, I did not respond because I felt uncomfortable and overwhelmed by his previous behavior, which made me nervous to have any further engage with him. Additionally, to be paying for a job and then feel verbally decimated by the service provider because of exterior paver cleaning which does not affect interior appliance installation is just plain unacceptable. As such, we decided to use a different company. Needless to say, we will not use Cost Cutters for any future jobs and would not recommend the company based on the above experience.

Mike was the second repair shop that I called because the first one did not give me a sense of well being. They danced around when I asked how much, mine was easy the element went bad, easy to price out but my wife made the appointment for the next day. So I called Cost Cutters and talked to Mike, he told me how much and I can do it in a hour, hour later he's knocking at my door and a hour later not only did he replace the element but replaced the vent hose and a drum roller that was squeaking for less than the company just for the element. Mike is the most amazing and awesome Appliance Service, Maintenance and Repair technician on the Planet.If I could give him 10 stars, it would not be enough because I have never experienced such an Honest, Knowledgeable, Caring and Quality focused and dedicated Appliance Service person like Mike. Who I used used for more than 5 years.Mike has always delivered Outstanding Excellence in Customer Service, Expertise, Professionalism, Courtesy and Respect. When he visited my home, he was kind and gracious and he treated it and my Washing Machine like it was his very own. As promised, he came on time, was very neat and tidy, and kept me well informed of the work he was doing. He also had an exceptional and refreshing attitude, presence, politeness and demeanor. And he performed above and beyond the call of duty and exceeded my expectations. Mike is the best.I should add that Mike has extraordinary diagnostic, troubleshooting, familiarity, hands-on and know-how skills, and the experience to repair not only the common issues but those very complex and unusual problems. He once fixed a troublesome issue with my Washing Machine that the Whirlpool Customer Service Center could not help me with. I believe there is nothing Mike can’t service, repair and correct with my appliances.I highly recommend Mike and he should be the role model for all appliance service technicians.I will be his customer for life.Service: Washing machine repair

Our dishwasher was not filling with water so I called Mike. Mike came on time as scheduled and quickly diagnosed our issue. A part had to be ordered but that came very quickly and Mike returned to fix our dishwasher quickly and cost effective. Thank you Mike!Service: Dishwasher repair

I called this company number at around 1:00PM. Mike was busy but said to find out what make my fridge was and call him back. I did so and he called me right back and said he would be at my house within 90 min. He was there in an hour. 45 min later my 20 yo fridge was back up and running. I rarely see this kind of responsiveness in the service industry. Mike is unique and if he says he will be there, he will. BTW, I never write reviews.Service: Refrigerator/freezer repair
