I would like to share about my most recent and last time going to this dollar tree. To start off the store was dirty and so unorganized but that’s the least of my issues with the store. My issue is with the cashier and I will add that there was about 5 other employees standing around talking and doing nothing and one cashier who had customer after customer so I gave her the benefit of doubt which I regret wholeheartedly. So I love shopping at the dollar tree it’s been about a year since I been to this one specifically and I will not come back to this one it’s always been the last choice compared to the others in the area but the cashier which I won’t name because of legal and privacy reasons. I came up to the register with a cart full of stuff and after scanning a few items she rudely responds with how are you going to pay for all of this you are not paying with welfare are you. I’m young and didn’t understand how inappropriate that question was until I got home and my father furiously told me and I want to add I was paying fully in debit I never go shopping unless I have the money but either way it was none of the cashiers business to say what she did but I didn’t know the wrong from it because I’m younger and never been asked that so let’s move on to problem two so after a while of scanning I noticed the price on the register stopped going up so I watched it a couple more times and realized everything was scanning but I wasn’t being charged for the items so I did the right thing and told the cashier and after some time she got the issue fixed on her part but after my whole experience I’m not sure if I could go back to that moment would I have said anything again or not which leads to my last issue so this is a week later I’m leaving this review because I just looked at the recipe I’m just gonna take this loss on my part but I noticed she double scanned a couple items and charged me a 3.00 charge for something I never had in my cart I was gonna let things go but this employee shouldn’t be working here or needs job training because being rude, not paying attention and wrongfully charging customers should be taken seriously I hope my review helps because I am not going back there to that dollar tree ever again.

Went in to buy a few things. The store is clean, not too busy, and they have a Dollar Tree + selection and a great selection of cold foods. This store has many items of the same items from other chains that you can buy for very low prices here.

I accidentally took a few items too many and was short about 3 dollars. I am homeless and shop here because I get the most food for the $, I asked Trudy, the cashier to take off the apple bars. She told me not to worry about it, and that she's got it covered.. I think she charged it to the stores bank card, this completely caught me off guard.. I am used to being treated with bias for being homeless, Trudy treated me with empathy, this one store visit you guys are suddenly unmatched from any place else I shop, and I will be coming here way more often, I always find things cheap here that would cost 10-15 dollars at another store. I Appaud Trudy for stepping up and also applaud Dollar Tree for having this silent resource available to help others.
