Health Markets in Port St. Lucie, FL

“Super MarketSprouts is one of those chains that tends to have higher quality goods but at a little higher than normal cost. In some areas of the country, that can be a markedly high difference. In Florida, where you have ultra-expensive Publix on every corner, Sprouts is not that bad at all.This location is situated along the super-busy Port St Lucie West / Peacock corridor is blends in so well that you have to look for it. They have all the essentials that a grocery store typically has: Produce / deli / meat & Seafood, dry goods and a dairy / bakery section. The store, while not huge is not exactly small either - call it just right in terms of size. Produce is always amazing looking and it seems to last somewhat longer than Publix. I never see anyone in the seafood dept - but I am not a big seafood eater so not a problem for me. I also go early in the morning, so that might account for it.Meats are decent and the rest of the store gets the job done. They have a decent wine section and a pretty good area where you can get bulk items like coffee beans and nuts.The place is spotless which is always nice to see when looking for food items.Check out: I tend to use the self checkout but sometime it chokes when you have rolls or something loose like that. The one thing they have started lately, and it pisses me off, if that they want to charge you for these new, heavier weight plastic bags in an effort to get you to reuse them... at least that is what the cashier lady told me when I asked about the charge.To me, that is a Sprouts business decision and not one I need forced on me- so you can just skip the charge and take the bag anyway - it is on the honor system.Overall good - except for the plastic bag thing. “If i could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. I'm super allergic to chicken eggs, so I have to eat duck eggs. The grocery store that I had been going to stopped carrying duck eggs and I was heartbroken. So, I spent some time googling where else I could find them when Nutrition Smart popped up - and it's actually closer than the store I was going to previously. A quick trip, and they had all the duck eggs I could want! They even said they'd special order them for me if they ever stopped regularly carrying them. OMG - THANK YOU!!!! I liked the atmosphere of this store and found several other items we regularly purchase. The employees were also incredibly kind and accommodating. I will 1000% recommend this store to my friends and family!!!”
