The last three vehicles that I have rented from Hertz at the St. Lucie West location have had issues that were never resolved. I have contacted Hertz through their customer surveys and phone calls and nothing was done. To correct any of the issues.

I don’t get you people . This hertz rental car don’t make sense. You should be opening on the weekends so people can rent a car on the weekend and bring it back for Sunday. Everybody works on the weekends as well. I never heard of a rental car clothes on the weekends. That’s why I only gave you a two star.. maybe you should start opening on weekends.

Overall, a solid experience. I booked a mid-size SUV but had to wait for a vehicle to be ready. Ended up with a Chevrolet Equinox that drove well and was bug-free, but it wasn’t fully cleaned—leftover items like peanuts, books, and even a knife were still inside. I sanitized it myself and returned the items the next day.
Staff were courteous throughout, especially Pete at pick-up. Drop-off was smooth, and the rep appreciated my feedback about the detailing issues. Hertz was professional and respectful, but they could improve vehicle prep and attention to detail.
Would rent again, just hoping for a cleaner start next time.

The car was great. Although, it was not fully cleaned. Found a used knife, debit card, and pen pad in the car while wiping down the seats. The gentleman that helped me was alone and I had to wait almost an hour to pick up my rental. He was very kind so I didn’t make it a big deal but for the future please have your customers rental ready and clean upon arrival.

They are closed over the weekends. Returned vehicle on Friday night after 5pm and charged until Monday morning. Would not make any changes even when I showed video of it being returned and dropping keys in drop box.

I will never rent from them again. The car wasn’t even clean when I picked it up. When I asked to speak with a manager, I was told no one was available. Completely unprofessional and disappointing experience.

Terrible service, had made an online booking and when I arrived to pick up, they tell me there were no cars available, after making me sit there for 15 minutes. Thank you for making me miss my flight. NEVER again.

NO STARS. I GOT A RENTAL TODAY LITERALLY AROUND 12pm. It went great so far just about up until a hour and a half ago. I get off work and I get in the car and there’s ROACHES not one but MANY all over the damn car.

They forgot to give me a child seat and they charged me 98.00 for the seat, I called to report the mistake. They told me they will take care of the situation in 3-5 days but never heard of them..now I will have to make a complaint to the BBB...

They said I couldn’t rent a car when I have never rented a car from them before. I was so upset because I never rented a car from that company. I had to rent a car because my car was being repaired.

Today, I experienced an unexpected event with my car, which resulted in an accident. However, the situation was made significantly better thanks to the impeccable service I received from Hertz. After contacting my insurance company, I was presented with options for a rental vehicle. I chose Hertz and was assisted by Mr. Samuel at Saint Lucie West location, whose professionalism and positive attitude truly stood out. He made the process seamless and took the time to ensure I was comfortable with my decision. It is refreshing to encounter individuals like him who make a challenging situation more manageable.
