We agree with the scammers comment! We went in to have my husband's wedding ring redone. I saw a beautiful gold bracelet and they said they would take the one I was wearing on consignment and told me they sold one just like it for $500 the week before. They took it in the back for approval, I bought the new bracelet (non returnable from an estate sale) and we left. They called later to say they can't consign because supposedly my three week old bracelet was "dented and damaged!" Two weeks later they never did anything with my husbands ring and after arguing, the gave it back. Horrible customer service.

Unfortunately after 6 months of purchased, my wife’s ring band lost a diamond stone. She wears it with her original wedding set that we bought 11 years ago at Zales. The store offered to replace the stone for $300, but they did not take any responsibility for the quality of the ring, and can’t guaranty that this won’t happen again, so we didn’t agree to pay that amount. Her original ring still have all stones after all these years. Hard to buy again from this place. Hopefully was an isolated issue.

Awful! Scammers who take advantage of old people! My 82-year old mother went to get her wedding ring resized. Jay's took her to the cleaners for $1,100. When someone is 82 years old, living on a pension, you don't zing them for $1,100. My folks live on my father's military pension (25-yr Army veteran, airborne ranger with 3 Vietnam tours) - you can get her what she needs for less than $1,100. She's not Cruella Deville - she's a pensioner. When I called to ask them how a simple ring-sizing becomes an $1100 repair and, point-blank, asked them how much a ring has to be worth to warrant and $1100 repair, they responded, "I have no idea, I'm not an appraiser." Crooks - I hope it was worth it for you.

I always say, wherever you’re spending your hard earned money ensure it’s where the service is exceptional. This is the place! 5 Stars aren’t enough. Ask for Lorraine she’s just the best. And I didnt have to spend hundreds to get this… all I did was fix my watch. You won’t be disappointed. Prices are great too ??

I brought a ring to be resized and was assisted by Doris. She was very sweet and spent a good deal of time with me to help determine the size I needed. Unfortunately, though not surprising as I know metal costs are much higher these days, the cost of resizing was more than the ring was actually worth, so I declined. However, Doris had a wonderful idea and suggested a ring guard for a mere $15. She could have tried to talk me into a costly resizing of the ring or just send me on my way, but she took the time to actually help me with my dilemma.

My friend and I tried Jay's Fine Jewelry for the first time yesterday. It was recommended by another friend. We received a very warm welcome by Vivian and knew, before too long, that we were in good hands! Her warm demeanor and expertise (on our repair needs) sent us out happier than when we went in! We even had a Kit Kat and Reese's Peanut Butter Cup, available to us, while we were there! We will be back!

My husband purchased a gold bracelet with the intention of making it longer into an anklet to surprise me for our anniversary. ( I like heavy chain anklets and they are hard to find) So he purchased the bracelet and they did the work to extend the length to anklet length and it is beautiful. There is no evidence of the work they did . Would highly recommend Jays ! They sell beautiful jewelry and are willing and quite skilled to do repairs and customization.

I took a diamond bezel white gold watch to be serviced. I needed an extension. The sales woman told me he would add another bar at the closure. I left it there with trust in that store. When i got it back, the prong settings where all crooked, as if they were tampered with i have before pictures. The extension were 2 welded pieces on the arms very noticeable and devalues the watch! I should of trusted my gut because something told me to turn around when i was in that store! Always follow your instincts!!!!

Been a consistent customer for multiple pieces of jewelry. They'll order whatever you need. However I had purchased an expensive necklace for my anniversary and it was a 16inch "sparkly necklace". I brought it back to get cleaned and they stretched it to 20inches, which must have been from the heat, and then blamed it on me and said it was like that when i brought it in, which it clearly wasn't. The necklace was ruined, and they suggested I purchase a thicker necklace next time instead of replacing the damaged jewelry. I would not recommend them to anyone after this experience.

This past May I lost my beloved grandfather and Jay custom built this beautiful bracelet with an infinity charm to hold a piece of him with me for the rest of my life. Deserves NO Star! TERRIBLE customer service!! I would NEVER recommend this company. We bought a custom ring ($1900) and less than 10 months a stone broke & they refuse to fix it for free!!
