My Dixie just recently passed over the rainbow bridge and the experience here was nothing but respectful and peaceful for her. I’ve finally found my vet office after searching and trial and error. Also the other day they took my cooper in when he got a fishing hook stuck in his lip and they were able to get him in last minute, quickly and right before they closed too. They rock!

They are constantly messing up with me. And they never approve of my pharmacy requests in time and due to that my dog is constantly going with out medication for days at a time. When I came to them over 5 years ago I never had much problems. They have changed one of my medication dosage for my dog. They lowered just slightly because they were worried about his bloodwork level and his medicine being borderline toxic to him now. I was suppose to lower the dose and do blood tests again in 6 months. So when I went back again for the blood test they said everything looked good. Then they realized that I was giving him a lower dosage than what they measured for and told me that I had to redo the test which means I had to pay another $250 out of my pocket to redo a test they did wrong in the first place. And they said they never told me to lower the dosage when I have the emails proving they did. Not only is it impossible for them to do anything right but they can't even approve a prescription for his seizure medicine. I have told them three times this week to approve the request from the pharmacy and there has been no conversation between the vet to the pharmacist so he will be going the whole weekend without medication because there closed and can't do there jobs properly. thanks for all your help Morning side I'm tired of all these major inconveniences if you can't seem to click yes for a pharmacy request in nit sure I want to keeping working with you guys.

Morningside was AMAZING! We just moved to town, and one of my foster kittens came down with something really weird— they were able to get us in quickly, and were very gentle and thorough when examining my foster kitten! I can’t express enough how thankful I am for the staff here!

I came on Thursday when I realized my 1 year old female rescued cat that just had been spay and neuthered the previous week at the Human Society didn't have any stitches anymore and that a bad smell was coming out of the cavity. The diagnostic I got from the vet (a woman, couldn't even catch her name as she spent so little time with us) was that she needed another surgery. It will cost you including today's visit $890 ! Or eventually $740 without the Pre-Op screenings ?For the record, I had pay $50 for the spay and neuther.I did mention my cat was absolutly behaving normally since the operation (eating, drinking, poop, no fever, energy) and that almost for sure the only issue she had was the incision site infection. I really have no doubt the 1st surgery went well, we were already 7 days later. The Human Society is doing an amazing job. This infection was my fault, she seemed so well, I should have watch under her belly more often. Was there another way to treat her ? Can we try something else first ? Something I can actually afford ?I'm ready to take the risk, I have actually no other choice. The vet answered, no we have to go with something aggresive !!!I can't afford it, I ended up leaving with my cat, with an infected hole in her tummy ? She absolutly gave no care to her (wound not cleaned up or disinfected, first dose of antibiotics not given). I received no advise at all on how to take care of her even though I asked multiple times.I just left with my 120$ bill for the visit, a bottle of antibiotics and an ER collar.I went to Walgreens and had a sweet pharmacist advising me on what I could use to have a bandage on her.Later in the evening, after researching online, I drove to Fort Pierce to the Tractor Supply Inc. shop were I could find Absorbine Silver/Honey wound repair. I had use a similar product to heal a rescued puppy with open wounds previously. It costs $25Good news is, after a lot of stress and constant watch and care, my cat is doing perfectly fine after 3 days. There is no more sign of infection, the wound is perfectly clean, the smell totally gone, she eats, drinks, poops and would be chasing birds If I wasn't locking her up inside. The full recovery will take time I know, still a lot of bandages ahead of me for this hole to be finally closed. But she is alive and I can now finally breathe...I wasn't wrong, following her history and symptoms, there was another, non agressive and affordable way to treat her.I'm writing this review because what happened isn't ok. I'm not blaiming all vets that work there but that vet didn't help me and showed no empathy. What if I didn't find out about Silver/Honey wound repair ? Hard to believe that as a vet she didn't know about it.What if my best friend wasn't a nurse and a cat lover and could tell how to handle this ? What if I was too sensitive to take care of an open wound ?The vet could have helped me in this process, she choose not too. I knew I was taking a risk, I knew it might have ended up another way but when people tell you they can't afford a surgery and there is still a chance for the animal to be treated another way, isn't it your responsability to share your knowledge and give at least a chance to the animal ?She pretended the surgery was the only option, what if the surgery had killed her ? Any surgery is a risk right ?Anyway, just hope, this won't happen to anyone after me, you need to help people and animals in the best of your knowledge not following what will be the most expensive procedure you can charge them.

Our dogs have all been cared for at this clinic, and it has been beyond amazing. However, today, we had to make the very difficult decision to help our senior dog cross the rainbow bridge. The staff could not have been better to us all through this process. I personally had not done it before, and we were well informed of the process before, and during it. We had help and privacy at all appropriate times, and the staff was very compassionate and kind during this experience. Our dogs have always received top notch care from Morningside Animal Hospital, and we as a family thank them from the bottom of our hearts. If you are looking for a place to take care of your four legged family members, look no further. I confidently recommend, 5 stars all around. A heartfelt thank you once again to all who have helped us here. A place that has a mission that they stick to for providing animals with care to live the best and healthiest lives possible to the very end ?

I just went to Morningside for the first time since moving up to PSL from WPB and I had previously visited a vet a couple of months ago and I swore never to go there again after a most unprofessional experience. Morningside was the difference between night and day! Very professional and I was extremely happy with the care that my cat received. Today I received a welcome card from them which was such a surprise! A very nice touch - thank you!!!!! I will definitely be back!

Always a good experience. Dr Gimbal and Dr Ditrapani are always willing to explain anything and lay out options. The techs and nurses are really caring and compassionate, even with our fearful boy who growls every time he is unsure or nervous. The only downside is that they stopped being open til 7pm twice a week. That used to be very convenient for us. Still, their quality of care is totally worth it.

Vet bills can definitely be expensive especially when it comes down to X-rays and ultrasounds, cultures and labs, but it’s the level of love and care provided during your pets time of need that makes it worth wild. Dr Pacheco and staff did that for me and Charlie today. We’ve been part of Morningside Animal Hospital for some time now and I’m always grateful for the compassion and level of care provided. Once again thank you Dr Pacheco. We’ll see you soon

We had to take our dog in as an emergency. She got ahold of evidently, a Bufo frog and if not for the great attention and care she got there, she may not have made it. THANKS TO ALL.
