Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience at Sunset Nails. The salon did not feel clean, and the overall atmosphere was unwelcoming. The staff wasn’t friendly, and there was very little attention to detail with the work. I didn’t feel comfortable or cared for during my visit, and the quality of the nails didn’t meet basic expectations. I won’t be returning and can’t recommend this salon based on my experience. There was only 1 person (a man) who does acrylic fill. After the poor pedicures, I refused the acrylic fill. I’m going somewhere else. Not a big selection of colors, either.

Garbage! The man sitting at the desk yelled at my 11 year old daughter because she told him her nails were all different lengths and the nail polish was all clumpy and the whole nail wasn’t painted! Then wouldn’t let her get out of the chair after I told him to just take the nail polish off so we could leave! Worst customer service I’ve ever received by far at a nail salon!

Great job on pedicure, most salons these days don't do what a real pedicure entails. They skip steps don't use half the tools in the kit, this sweet man I wish I could remember his name but he did everything and he did it right! Nice to know some people are
still have a good work ethic and do their job fully and correctly. Definitely my new spot!

I have been going here for 2 years now, I used to have great experiences until the last 4 visits. I get gel on my nails and within a couple days they’re peeling off which why am I paying a high price for something that should last a couple weeks at least.. yet only lasts a couple days. Recently I returned after 2 of my nails peeled off after 2 days, while I was there they were talking in Vietnamese saying I’m ripping my nail polish off on purpose to have them redone.. let me add I have to bring my 1 1/2 year old with me and I’m currently 8 months pregnant. The last thing I want to do is sit in a nail salon multiple times in a week. I will not be returning anymore.

horrible nail techs can’t even do a heart design then wants to charge extra. ive been coming here for quite sometime and in very upset how the new techs are… i am not returning

What I asked for that he said was no problem so that made me feel confident the first time I ever went had no issue left happy this time I went in for a fill and asked for Valentine nails and picked the image out below that he said was no problem, in the middle of it tells me he’s going to do it better then the image to trust him , I said okay then he said he wouldn’t be doing the big heart only the small hearts , I’m a great tipper so treat me fairly if you can’t do something tell me and I’ll give you something more simple to do without a issue don’t tell me it’s not a issue then in the middle of it tell me your doing your own way then when I spoke up and asked him not to do the French tip like in the picture just the solid color pink on those nails that have the French he said no no no I do it for you completely ignored what I just asked , needless to say I even asked him to fix the small hearts he left me with cause they didn’t look right and he didn’t do it he proceeded to my toes when telling me the price which came out to 70$ nails and toes and I wasn’t happy at all with My nails I was upset , he seen my face and then makes a joke I can give you a discount for 69.96 and I didn’t like that … the fact that your even making a slick comment like that and you didn’t even do my nails right at all and wouldn’t fix them made me furious I still am and won’t be going back there

I’ve come here a few times and the service has been good everytime. This particular time, I got a pedicure. I originally asked for Gel but when I saw the lady had started as regular polish, I just told her to continue seeing as it was close to their closing time. Upon completion I realized that the polish wasn’t laying right on my big toe. She never refilled my big toes which had acrylics so I was under the impression that they were fine as I can normally get a second pedicure before they need touching up… instead, she laid the polish and told me after the fact, that my toes needed refilling instead of doing so during the pedicure. I asked her why she didn’t do it and her response was I didn’t ask. I’m pretty sure I’m not returning here. And then she went on to speak her native language amongst the others in the shop waving her hands as if she was annoyed with me when I’m the customer who just sat here and got bullshit on her toes and still has to pay full price. It’s a “NO” for me.

My first time receiving service was very memorable. I was able to do a walk to get a pedicure and full set gel nail. Staff were professional and friendly. Ryan who did my nails was hilarious with a great personality! I will be making this place my nail home. I usually don’t give 5 stars but this place deserves it.

Went in for a pedicure. It felt very rushed. My feet do not look like I even went in for a pedicure. Did not spend much time on the bottoms of my feet. Heels still look as cracked as they were before I went. Did not separate my toes with a serperater and they touched which messed up the polish. He went to fix it, but you can still see it got messed up. Did do a nice foot and leg rub. I feel like I wasted my money and that I need to go home and finish the job.

I went for a gel manicure yesterday 7/12/24. Ryan did a TERRIBLE JOB. He did not ask me and immediately started cutting my nails which were a length I wanted. He was rushing with my manicure to get to a customer that walked in. He did not properly remove my cuticles. He massaged my hands to a put where it hurt. I have had bad manicures in the past but this was the absolute worst. I will never return to this salon again.

I normally only go here for pedicures and an overlay but their nail techs are so basic and don’t do new designs. For my pedicures though I been going to the same person for over 2 years and never no complaints. I go faithfully every two weeks and whether I make an appt or not I’m seen within a matter of minutes. I just wish they had late hours on the weekends.
