Had a quick stop at the optical shop inside Target. Had a wonderful experience from the moment I crossed the threshold into the shop. Holly Godwin greeted me immediately and took care of my glasses that had a nose piece fall off. A very clean, organized nicely optical store.

I’m on my fourth pair of lenses after going back so many times to get the correct prescription and it still isn’t right. Went back today to tell them something is still off, the left side seems to be wrong.. they told me I had to pay to be checked. How is it my fault that they got my prescription wrong and still continue to? I had to pay for the glasses and now am stuck with them. All I want is to be able to see without an issue. Definitely don’t recommend.

I had a disappointing experience at Target Optical at Tradition. During my initial visit for an eye exam, the staff was friendly and helpful. I received my glasses, but I returned shortly after because the prescription didn’t feel right. They sent the glasses back for adjustments, saying something was off.
When the glasses were ready, no one called to let me know they had arrived. I ended up going to the store myself, only to find out they were already there. The staff apologized and admitted they should have contacted me. If they had called, I would have had more time to try the glasses and realize they still didn’t work, before the return or exchange window expired.
Even after the adjustment, I continued having the same issues. I’ve tried to use the glasses multiple times, but I honestly see better without them. I can’t even use them to read. When I returned to the store again, the staff member made me feel like I didn’t know what I was talking about. She asked if it was my first time using progressive lenses, which it wasn’t. I’ve been wearing them for years. She seemed dismissive of my concerns.
I told her I would give the glasses another try to see if my eyes would adjust, but they never did. Unfortunately, I had to travel shortly after that visit, so by the time I returned, the exchange window had closed.
Despite paying a significant amount for these glasses earlier this year, I still can’t use them. I left feeling unheard and frustrated. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this location.

Horrible customer service on every level. When you call the store, the majority of the time , no one answers. You leave a message and no one calls you back. You have to keep calling and calling until you get lucky and someone actually answers the phone during business hours.
My glasses were supposed to be mailed to Ohio when they came in but instead sat in a drawer for over 10 days. When I asked Holly why they did not follow thru and send them, she replied she had no answer. I then cancelled my purchase and asked for them to email me a copy of the credit going back on my card. They initially lied and told me that they did. More calling and they were so inept they were unable to do it. Later that afternoon I received an email, supposedly of the receipt that I could not open to view. No apology for all the hassle and all the time I wasted because they could not do their job.
I called corporate customer service for Target Optical and no help there either. They have you fill out a form that the store has 5 business days to respond. The retail store is not accountable because as a customer, you are unable to report their unacceptable customer service to management. The process is a joke!
I strongly suggest that you purchase your glasses elsewhere!
