(Just to be clear, it’s crazy this Walgreens has its own company policy. This is why Walgreens is failing. You don’t oversee your franchisees, so that said) It’s unfortunate that “company policy” will not let you release information, on prescription availability. Having my doctor call in a script, just to tell me it’s out of stock. Well what a concept, tell the patient. That way he/she doesn’t have to play phone tag, with their doctor all day. While I sit at home, needing a medication, but can’t fill it bc we have to do this phone run around. I can’t help but think if “company policy” was in the customers favor.(you know that whole healthcare oath, of doing whatever you can above and beyond. To help a patient, guess that goes out the window when the pharmacist is hired”) luckily CVS has it figured out, probably why they have a better stock. It’s 2024 get w it or get out of the business of customer service, because”company policy” isn’t working.

Pharmacy does not inform patient's Dr. when meds not in stock, so they can be faxed to another pharmacy, just says they are not in system until pressed.

We switched to this Walgreens from CVS and have been overall happy. I’ve been really under the weather and made an online appointment for a COVID/Flu test as I have a young child and wanted to know my status. When I went in they couldn’t find my appointment (quite possibly my fault as I’m nearly delirious from sickness and no sleep). They chose not to help me. They told me to go to a Walgreens up the street ?. Oooook. Sweating and tearful I called the Walgreens up the street (Prima Vista/US1) and they said yes come over! I went straight there and they look at me confused. I called the one on Prima Vista and Bayshore (again delirious), They wouldn’t swab me either. I’m soaked in sweat, clearly uncomfortable and on the verge of tears and no one sees me or if they do they don’t care. I drove alllll the way across to Prima Vista and Bayshore. They were just as busy if not more so and they took my info and did my swab and sent me on my way. So thankful for that compassionate pharmacist. I get it, I do. There was no appointment in the system but I had clearly made an effort and I was clearly struggling and a pharmacy offering these services is part of health CARE.

I have been going to Walgreens for last 4 years for my pain management. This Monday I drop off my prescription to b filled. N on Thursday,I went back to c what happened to my prescription. They said due date was Friday. ( next day, they gave me prescriptions back) I told them I ll b having a knee surgery, I won’t b able . They said send anyone , will give it to them. Next day I had a knee surgery , my bf told me that they were out of my pain meds. Now I had to drag in to talk to black hair pharmacist, she wasn’t even listening to me. She kept lying n change her lies, told me they stop making this meds 2 weeks ago, then she said they don’t have the meds, then she said we can’t help u. U have to call n go around another pharmacy to get my meds. With hurting surgery leg. Terrible treatment by Walgreens. Very nasty pharmacist , Shane on u Walgreens. I ll try go to Publix or cvs or Walmart. I am sure they have better pharmacists there, who can help me.

I'm new to the area and I must say the young lady at the register has to be the kindest, sweetest, most helpful person I've been in contact with since moving here. I told her I would leave a wonderful review and her little face lit up. Thank you for the wonderful experience Alize!!!!!

Terrible service, takes about 2 hours to get anything from the pharmacy. You will wait and they will not address you until they are ready. They need to do better and get more staff.

Some dishonest pharmacy staffs make Walgreens untrustworthy. They have been making me run around with simple potassium tablets refills. On my very last visit, they gave me only 3 tablets to last more than a week. Thier excuse was that my insurance won't let them fill the full prescription. I am on water pills so taking potassium is a must, but they kept bringing up insurance issues. (My suspition is that they didn't have in stock) What insurance issues??? I went to Publix pharmacy on the same day, and they filled the whole month supply plus 4 refills. I hope that the pharmacy manager at this Walgreens reads this review. I trasnsferred all meds to Publix pharmacy.

Poor customer service all around on top of many other issues this store has. Vomit at the entry way left for over 3 hours, 2 weeks ago. During a pandemic that is. I know because I was in the plaza again later after reporting it and went around to check if it was cleaned up. Also why offer curbside pick up if the staff can’t get your orders out in a timely matter or at all. Also staff keeping customers register rewards. I’m done with this location.

Poor, poor and poor service. It’s New Years evening. The store isn’t packed. At some points the store is empty and so is the parking lot. I’m in my car in utter pain. I can barely walk. I’m here to pick up some arthritic cream for my legs. I checked in for a curbside pickup at 5:35 at 6pm still no one came out. I swung around to Publix to get a pickup order. I’m back. I checked back in and called at 6:35pm. It’s 7:02. I am crying. No one still hasn’t come out to bring my order. I will never return here again. This isn’t the first time this is happening. Why offer a service that can’t be provided. I will be going to cvs across the street from now on.
