just got back from Maria's Garden in Punta Gorda and I was overjoyed with how many wonderful desert rose plants she has in tons of sizes so you can find something for all cash levels. She has so many types. even though it's winter and no leaves or flowers yet, everything is healthy and you can see buds popping out. I got a wonderf education on how to care for my plant and left with my prize being healthy and safe for my 50 minute journey home. worth the trip!! Both Maria and Bessie wonderful to work with.

Maria has a beautiful nursery filled with many beautiful plants. I have been a follower of her YouTube videos for several years now and I've always wanted to see her garden. Today I came when they were 15 mins to closing and I was able to speak with Maria. She's a pleasure to speak with and she's very informative. I spoke about how I have 3 dessert Rosa's currently and she gave me information on how to ensure it's growth and to keep them happy. Because of the time and I wanted to respect the hours of her business I wasn't able to see the whole nursery, but from what I saw she has beautiful healthy plants and they are are for a reasonable price. I know for sure when I'm back in the area I'm definitely taking more time to shop here at Maria's garden.

Maria's garden is one of a kind! It's a true rare find. Specializing in all kinds of dessert roses, succulents, aloes, and the like! Maria and Bessie are a duo that can't be matched! They are kind, fair, helpful, and appreciate the business. Their selection and quality are absolutely amazing. The best prices in all of Punta Gorda, Cape Coral and Ft. Myers (and trust me, I've searched)This was my second trip back to Marias Garden and I will continue to go back!! Don't miss out on this hidden Gem!!!

I stopped by at Maria's Garden on the way home while we were visiting FL. I have never visited before Hurricane Ian hit the area. They had a good number of desert roses in different sizes and prices and other plants mainly succulents. The price was reasonable. I got a purple desert rose, hoya, and a couple other plants. As I was leaving, Maria gave me some tips on how to fill soil in a big container, what soil to use, and plant care. By watching her YouTube channel, she is always very busy. So I really appreciated Maria to spend some time sharing her knowledge with me. When I visit FL again, I'll stop by to get some more plants.

I stopped by and finally met my idol! She is extremely knowledgeable and open to any questions 1 might have! She's always working but that doesn't stop her from talking with you. My husband drove me from south Texas just to meet her and she did not disappoint! I ❤️ her! She has a you tube channel and it's a must watch! Please support her and her channel!

Maria’s Garden has an amazing array of beautiful and healthy desert roses and succulents of all kinds. However, do not come here if you don’t know much about desert rose care and don’t want to be shamed and talked down to by Maria. My dad was extremely excited to get his first desert rose, and was asking some basic questions like how often to water, whether to fertilize, etc. Maria snorted, rolled her eyes, and said “oh my god,” as though she couldn’t believe we wouldn’t know these things. She seemed visibly angry that we would ask these questions. She insisted that the desert rose my dad picked out be repotted before he could purchase it, but then wouldn’t let him buy the pot he wanted and insisted on another. When we asked for clarification about the repotting process, she snapped “I know what I’m doing,” with an angry look on her face. In all, we had a terrible experience being talked down to by Maria. Shout out to Marty, her husband, who was extremely nice and walked us through basic desert rose care with kindness. It’s a shame the customer service was so poor, because Maria clearly cares deeply about her plants, works extremely hard, and has a beautiful nursery. Despite that, I would not come here again.

Maria was very very rude when we visited we had questions about desert rose ; there were no other customers there, and she rudely said she's too busy watch the video... very snotty... Shame on her because my sister has held her knowledge with highest regard, now will never return. Maria doesn't care about customers. Take your business two blocks down to Becky's garden! She cares about her customers!!

I went for the first time to check out all the cactus and succulents, I was never greeted or asked if I needed help.I couldn't find anyone except one lady that was yelling to the back where the bus was saying she was leaving. It was 3:00 .not a very friendly place.

Great place for succulents and a lot of desert roses. Didn't expect Maria to actually talk to me but she did. Reviewed my 2 desert roses and advised me to repot 1 into a bigger pot. Bought some nice succulents. Easy on/off I75 so you dont drive far to check it out.

Beautiful plants!!! Desert roses galore!!! And Maria is such a sweet lady!!! I came in with a question on a plant I bought a another nursery and she spent at least 45 min explaining to me how to nurse her back to health!! I left with 4 gorgeous desert roses and a vibrant pink and green Hoya… I live in Bonita Springs well worth the drive!! Lots of amazing colors to choose from!!! Such a lovely lady!!!

I stumbled upon Maria's Garden and I'm in love! What an incredible place. Maria and her husband are an absolute delight. She is truly a plant Guru! I watched her work in action as she suggested caretaking tips to several customers as I watched in amazement. The plants here we're healthy and full of life. Very well priced and worth every dollar. This is a southwest Florida hidden gem.
