I’d consider another pharmacy in PG. This one is very packed, sometimes taking an hour to get through the line at peak season.Staff is very hit or miss - some are exceptional - others are worn down by the sheer amount of work and angry customers who waited for along time.I just requested a refill and they told me 6days till it would be ready, that’s 6 days of wasted insurance benefits - convenient. They also no longer answer the phone - “secure voice mail only”

These folks get it right and communicate. Most of these I have tried, not so good. This one worth the extra drive.

Now with the new call back system on a great idea .Need more tech help in the drive up in Punta Gorda .Otherwise the system in place should be A-OKToday the team member was extremely helpful to me and very knowledgeable.

I use CVS. My insurance pays. For six years I have said do not do automatic renewal and fir six years they have. They have sworn they don't get my prescriptions from my physician and my physician swears they have . It's back and forth, back and forth. They call me and constantly harass me about automatic renewal. I say I'm not even discussing this because I have said no a dozen times. The next day they text and say I have prescriptions to pick up that I have not requested. They never stop.I do like the Minute Clinic and find the nurse practitioners to be professional and knowledgeable.But that pharmacy just sucks.

Pharmacy is terrible! Fills prescriptions incorrectly. This is the 4th time at this store. During Season it is worse.

If I could give zero stars I would . This has to be the worst pharmacy there is the staff totally ignored me the whole time after being so patient waiting on there drop off line in side the pharmacy I decided to go through the drive thru in hopes that maybe I would get better service the man in the drive thru was literally arguing with me the whole time of why I could not pay the good rx price on top of the fact that he would just roll his eyes whenever he spoke to me or when I mentioned I had the good rx he kept asking for the insurance as I had already explained multiple times I was self pay had no insurance. I would never recommend this to anyone especially minorities definitely racist too I observed as other folks that weren't minority were seen on a timely manner they literally walked back and forth saw me and never acknowledged the fact I was present or even said a word like we will be with you shortly thanks for your patience

Very unhappy with CVS Pharmacy. Prescription has been out of stock for a month and not explanation as to approximately how long it would be out of stock. Went online several times to fill it but never got filled only to find out by looking online that was out of stock. Went in person to pick up another prescription and asked about the out of stock item. Pharmacist said he just got back in stock. Asked if we wanted to get it filled. Of course said yes. Said we will be back tomorrow to actually pick it up. Went to pick it up the next day to find out it was not filled. Said we needed to wait to get it filled. They never mentioned that to us so we left and returned the next day. The person checking us out had a bit of an attitude the whole time saying that its was our problem saying we could not wait and that we would be back the next day. Poor customer service response in my eyes. Should have apologized and said that is their rule but sorry about that. No apologies at all just an attitude.

Had a prescription for a nebulizer to treat asthma, dropped it off at Walgreens, where I was told it was in stock. No, now it will take 2 days, then delayed, now 4 days. So I took the prescription back and called Walmart but none in stock. Called CVS, Hurray, they had one! Great service from pharmacy staff.

This pharmacy service is the worst I and many have ever encountered. There is no reason why seniors have to wait standing for up to an hour just to pick up their prescriptions. It is a terrible store and needs to be corrected.I and others arevkooking for alternatives to CVS.

My Dr. Ordered two prescriptions, one was not ready. CVS advised me to go to the CVS in Port Charlotte and pick it up. Pot Charlotte did not have any idea what was happening. CVS in punta gorda has just gotten worse than Walgreens in punta Gorda.

I realize everyone is short staffed, over worked, and overwhelmed in my city following a 2+ year pandemic as well as trying to recover from the catastophic hurricane IAN. So I've been patient waiting 2-3 days on prescription refills and new prescriptions. Yesterday however pushed me over the edge. I never experienced the type of bad customer service as I did from a young man in the drive-up window yesterday. I was at the window patiently waiting my turn realizing they were closing the pharmacy at 1:30, yet getting there 10 minutes prior to closing. They finished waiting on the car beside me, and I saw they were starting to shut and close the windows inside the pharmacy. I rang the drive-thru bell to make sure I would be waited on as their last customer before lunch, it was 1:28. I rang the bell to say how I'd been there before closing and the woman at the cash register clearly saw me waiting and could have told me that I'd have to come back later for my pickup. Instead a very rude young man comes from behind the counter inside and made signs with his hands and ears that he couldn't hear me. I made a sign of answering the phone and mouthed "pick up the phone and talk to me". At which time he finally did, but started yelling how I was interfering with HIS time and how I didn't respect HIM!!! I finally had a chance to cut in to his rant, to say I would have come back, but now insist they give me my prescriptioin since I was clearly there 10-15 minutes prior to closing. After much yelling at me he finally agreed to hand me my prescription, so I sent in my credit card. After getting my card, he said he was keeping my ID and credit card and I could come back when the pharmacy opened again to pick them up!!! What??? you're holding my credit card hostage? I asked for his name and to speak to his manager. At this, he shoved my card and prescription through the window and walked away. This was the last draw of poor service from this pharmacy. I realize people are hard put for staff these days, but a little common curtsey would have been all it took to deescalate the situation and keep a happy customer. I'm now leaving this store, and telling everyone I know not to shop there or use their pharmacy.

I tried calling them and they hung up on me 3 times without helping me. The worst CVS customer service I’ve ever had.
