Made a couple of attempts to gain an in-home measurement but only received automated text messages stating that someone would contact me and never did. I would not recommend wasting time with Home Services. I do like the store but the Home Services department must not be interested in my money.

This HD does not care about customers or community safety. While HD and Punta Gorda city policies require masks, neither the HD personnel nor a large fraction of the customers wear masks to protect against the spread of Covid19. In one shopping trip we saw over 4 employees without masks and more than 15 customers with no masks. In the early evening it is sometimes worse. At Lowes in Port Charlotte, Publix, and Walmart in Punta Gorda there is 100% CDC compliance. If you care about your health and that of our aged community, stop shopping at this store! They do not care about us!

Home Depot Punta Gorda does not care about your safety. Punta Gorda government just enacted an ordinance requiring people to wear masks to protect against coronavirus when inside a public facility. I just went to Home Depot and many customers and employees were not wearing masks. When I asked why HD doesn't require masks or no entry in compliance with the ordinance, I was told that HD is not the police. A simple sign at the entrance of "no mask, no entry" would suffice but, oh no, they want your money but don't care about your mandated safety. Caveat emptor!

Well it's Home Depot. There is an excellent check out clerk, Jeff in the pro line that I recommend. Had another employee that couldn't find anything. I just used the app and located the item myself. I enjoy walking around and looking at all of the tools but staffing could be better. Overall, it is a good experience I guess.

Absolutely love the older staff here! They are always so friendly and OFFER help without having to ask. Other than a couple of the younger cashiers and what I found out to be one of the managers, which was a younger girl herself, literally were in a huddle talking and laughing while customers, including my husband and I, looked for an open register. An older man called us over to check out at his register and was extremely friendly! I expressed my appall at those younger adults (and I'm not even old myself) and their concern about themselves and their social time instead of their customers.

Employees standing and talking. That's all I saw. Many many employees doing absolutely nothing constructive. If I asked a question, I was pointed in a general direction. No one took the time to actually help. No wonder prices at Home Depot are high; they have to pay for all those people to stand around. Also, their back doors are broken and WIDE open so that they can air condition the outside and waste resources apparently. Clueless store! These folks wouldn't last a day up North!

Sometimes you can go through there and not see an employee anywhere in the isles to get help. More often than not, when you do find an employee for help, they say "this is not my department" and they have no problem wasting your time looking over the same shelves that you paced for 15 minutes not finding what you need. Also, forget about using one of those flat bed carts through the store. They have obstructions everywhere! I don't think the management there pays one iota of attention to trying to navigate carts through the isles when all of them have other displays centered in the isles and on the edges of isles and it's sooooo frustrating trying to get around in that store.

I love this Home Depot! The store is very clean and tidy. The staff is very friendly! The garden center is my favorite part of the store. They have the freshest plants, trees and flowers! The selection of potting plants are great too. I highly recommend this store to everyone!

This store is full of friendly people that are always willing to help you find the right item. If only reviewing on that basis they'd get 5 stars from me no question. We ordered basic style, el cheapo Hampton Bay brand cabinets (wall and sink base) first part of Nov. 2018 to complete a laundry room update. Walt told us to expect them around 12/10/18. I called the store a day or two after 12/10 to request a more accurate date. I was told that once we got the ship notice (in an email) to expect them in one week. On 12/14 we received the shipping advisory, leading us to believe we'd have them a week later on 12/21. Never got a call, email... We went into the store to the service desk face to face to find out where our cabinets were. They told us that because of the holiday, the shipping was delayed and the store was going to have them on 12/27 and that they would be open until 10 p.m. if we wanted to get them. Still nothing. Today is 12/29, I just called to see if they were there yet, STILL not been delivered... nobody seems to know what happened to the cabinets The lady helping me on the phone was nice, tried to call other people for help and did her best for us. We are considering contacting our bank to dispute the charges for this order that apparently was never fulfilled. The store CRs have relentlessly back-paddled and deflected on why this order has still not shown up -- We paid over a $ grand for something that they cannot deliver as promised multiple times. Special order or not, we understand wiggle room on delivery dates, but this has become ridiculous. After this experience, we definitely will NOT special order again from Home Depot. Not sure who is responsible for this problem, the vendor or HD. Update: Visited the store again on 12/31 to see if we could get more accurate information. Apparently the vendor shipped the items to the HD distribution warehouse, but they were never "scanned in."

Ordered a tractor online and it was delivered from the Punta Gorda store. We could not get ETA on delivery so we called the store where Home Depot.com places the order. When we called, the sales people argued with us that we didn't purchase it from them. It has to be another store. The Punta Gorda store is about 15 miles away, So they kept making us call the Cape Coral store. 6-7 calls, we find that we were calling the correct store to begin with. We finally got delivery ETA! We ordered a zero turn tractor and when it was delivered, It wouldn't start. The delivery guy left and told us to call the store. We called the store and they argued with us again about why they delivered the tractor ! We explained your company did that and not sure why they didn't ship from a closer store. We got the manager Chris finally!! She again, talked about how they shouldn't have gotten the order! Then she explained that the John Deer tractor we ordered has many issues. They are hard to start normally and they come without grease and spouted off all the things they have problems with. I said that was unacceptable and she said that she would have someone call us back. She never did. So the following day, my husband decided just to return the 3k product. All Chris had to do was send a new tractor out and swap it out but she never offered and didn't want to really deal with us. Apparently Home Depot should not be selling John Deer as many problems as she has stated. I am contacting them next. Forgot to mention that the store manager Chris told is to call John Deer about the zero turn that wouldn't start when delivered. Which is crazy since they should have started it before it left the store...so it's now our problem. Such terrible service and excuses
