The diner is beautiful. Fun and exciting decor. The staff is so friendly. We became concerned when several parties that arrived and ordered after us were served ahead of us. Then our food was brought out steaming hot, dripping with grease, over-cooked. And it was just cheese burgers, tasteless with buns flattened and dripping with grease. Fries were strangely blackened. So disappointing. There's so much potential here. Please get it together. I really would like to go back.

5 of us for breakfast. Good coffee. 2 had mimosas. All ordered different breakfasts, a very cute new spot! We will try dinner another day.

Hamburger was a strange texture, I didn't care for it. No pickles, or onions tiny piece of lettuce and silver of a tomato. French fries looked good but weren't done on the inside. I found it pricey too,

Have eaten @both Diner (breakfast) & Speakeasy(dinner). Both very good. Food well made & tasty, server very pleasant, nice menus. A bit of a wait @ both due to crowd.

Parking: Plenty of parking right outside the entrance. Sorry, didn't notice if wheel chair access but I'm sure there was.Kid-friendliness: Would say it is kid friendly. At the time we were there it was all adults (10:00 a.m.) Very friendly waiter/waitress. Love the old time atmosphere.

By far the worst dining experience we’ve had in Punta Gorda. We were seated at 7:15 yet our dinners weren’t served until 8:40. The server brought us our salad and had to be reminded that we needed silverware with which to eat! When dinner did finally arrive the dishes were unimaginative, bland and in some cases incomplete. Chicken marsala served in a soup bowl? You have to be kidding!!!I guess this is to be expected when one tries to a bolt supper club onto a diner.

The highlight of my food was the home fries. I had a Western or Cowboy Omelet which was good but spiceless. My partner was unsatisfied with his burrito. It was thinly stuffed. Not sure if he would want to return again. Our servers were attentive. Penny was very friendly. It took a bit long to get the check picked up though. The atmosphere was ok- nostalgia on walls. The booths were cute and comfy.Parking: We parked in a non-designated spot.

My husband and I went for valentines dinner at the speak easy. The atmosphere was refined, sophisticated and extra romantic. Everyone was smiling and friendly and all the female patrons were given a red rose. I had the sea bass and my husband had the New York strip. Both meals were very satisfying though we did save room for desert- crème brûlée and cheese cake which tasted as if they were homemade. We can’t wait to go back again and to try the diner (breakfast/lunch) side soon.
