HomeDepot for flooring is a nightmare. They provided a date for installation and when flooring was delivered we were told to call the installation contractor to get a date for them to begin. At purchase we were told October when we called we were told January at the earliest. The invoice stated between Sept and Dec at the latest . Due to the schedule of family coming we could not wait till January. The Punta Gorda store was not only nasty and unhelpful but had the nerve to charge us a restocking fee to cancel the order. They charged us $1000.00 to return their garbage flooring, Save yourself a lot of aggravation and don't buy from them. Employees don't care and the installation company is just as bad.

We went to the Punta Gorda store today to look for ideas for tile for a new shower we are having installed. My sister and I know nothing about that sort of thing, but we were helped by a young man named Alex. He was absolutely the most patient and knowledgeable sales rep. It is so nice to have help and be treated like we really mattered. Kudo's Alex.. Your the best.

We finally got out of the house to complete long waiting project. We went to this store just to realize we were mostly ignored. The assistant saw us- however acted like he is not interested to assist with any questions. Some other passing by customers said to me: “ you have to really make a huge effort for them to even notice you”. Considering the store did not have many customers - this customer service is POOR on every possible level. We moved on to complete our project by purchasing elsewhere on line.

This HD does not care about customers or community safety. While HD and Punta Gorda city policies require masks, neither the HD personnel nor a large fraction of the customers wear masks to protect against the spread of Covid19. In one shopping trip we saw over 4 employees without masks and more than 15 customers with no masks. In the early evening it is sometimes worse. At Lowes in Port Charlotte, Publix, and Walmart in Punta Gorda there is 100% CDC compliance. If you care about your health and that of our aged community, stop shopping at this store! They do not care about us!

Home Depot Punta Gorda does not care about your safety. Punta Gorda government just enacted an ordinance requiring people to wear masks to protect against coronavirus when inside a public facility. I just went to Home Depot and many customers and employees were not wearing masks. When I asked why HD doesn't require masks or no entry in compliance with the ordinance, I was told that HD is not the police. A simple sign at the entrance of "no mask, no entry" would suffice but, oh no, they want your money but don't care about your mandated safety. Caveat emptor!

I came here to buy a grill I saw at homedepot.com for $299 and I could pick it up because it was un stock. I come to the store and its marked at $348. I was told they dint match their own online prices. False advertising. I'll pay more somewhere else than but from these liars.

I would like to commend Assistant Manager Brian from the Punta Gorda Home Depot # 6950. I purchased a grill five months ago and since day one It was giving me problems. This Weber grill would not light correctly, if it lit at all. It was a very scary situation to have a grill explode with a “swoosh” every time it would light. Well it's Home Depot. There is an excellent check out clerk, Jeff in the pro line that I recommend. Had another employee that couldn't find anything. I just used the app and located the item myself. I enjoy walking around and looking at all of the tools but staffing could be better. Overall, it is a good experience I guess.
