Apparently we cant have packages delivered at our address anymore because the mail lady isn't obligated to stray off route. What's absolute garbage and PURE LAZINESS is that I left a note with my phone number and said I would come to the gate and get them. NOW I HAVE TO LEAVE WORK EARLY TO GET MY PACKAGES AND THATS TIME I LOSE ON MY PAYCHECK BECAUSE THEIR MAIL DELIVERY SYSTEM IS ACTUAL GARBAGE!!!!!! And the best part is: No one can answer the damn phone.

I honestly never thought I’d be writing a glowing review about a post office, but here we are — and it’s all because of Trina, who went so far above and beyond for me that I’m still in awe.
I had mailed a Priority Mail Express envelope from Chicago, and after days of tracking it obsessively with no updates, I began to spiral thinking it was lost. The timing was sensitive — I had a flight scheduled, and this envelope was critical to our plans. I reached out to the Punta Gorda Post Office feeling frustrated, anxious, and defeated… and that’s when Trina stepped in.
She not only took my concern seriously, but she actually did the work. She pulled internal USPS reports, followed the package manually, and even texted me from her personal number to keep me updated. When I tell you she had better tracking access than the website itself, I’m not kidding. She kept me calm when I was convinced the worst had happened. She reached out to the postmaster, tracked the routing, and confirmed my package had been delayed but was still in motion — and she was right.
Trina treated my envelope like it mattered. More importantly, she treated me like I mattered. She didn’t brush it off with a generic “wait and see.” She owned the situation, stayed on top of it, and communicated like a true professional with heart.
In a world where customer service often feels like an afterthought, Trina is a rare gem — kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping people. USPS is lucky to have her, and I feel incredibly lucky that she was the one who picked up my call.
If you’re ever at the Punta Gorda Post Office, I hope you get to interact with her. She’s a reminder that there are still people in this world who care about what they do — and the people they serve.
Thank you, Trina, from the bottom of my heart. You turned a stressful, emotional mess of a week into something manageable. I’ll never forget it

What are we in the back woods, there is most always a long line to the door , it is so frustrating , wait in line for simple mailing jobs that’s could be done by a kiosk or postage machine as they won’t put in an automated postage- mailing machine kiosk , yet they don’t have enough staff, friendly but one staff is really slow chatting away. Hello some of us aren’t retired with lots of time on our hands and would like better service and for you to be more efficient

I have a registered letter that needed a signature to deliver but the postman never rang my doorbell for me to sign. I have a ring door bell to prove that they never got out of their truck. Now I have to go pick it up.

I had an issue with an international order two different times. Same package, but 2 different issues. When I went in person the first time, the staff was so awesome and kind. The second time I had to call the 1800 number and they put a report in and I immediately got a response from the post office and they fixed the problem for me. It was a frustrating experience, but not on their part and they were great to deal with. Thank you!

The employees at this location are excellent. Always polite and helpful. Today a very nice lady helped me with my direct mailers and she went above and beyond helping me. Great experience at this location. One of the best USPS locations for sure.

Lost 2 packages in 3 days. Says: it’s been delivered , but I never recieved…. I was home waiting for those deliveries. Local representative couldn’t explain clearly what is going on…..
No wonder why USPS has a such low rating!!!!!!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Lost my prescription not once but TWICE and take zero responsibility between them and the post office. Their response was I would need to get the prescription again and then pay again for medication. So I'm now out $75 in medication due to incompetence from them and USPS. This has happened twice and twice too many. I will now be switching to a different pharmacy after multiple disappoints and delays. Package NEVER left Punta Gorda, and still to this day says it's in Punta Gorda. Even more suspicion is that the pharmacist says several other customers called saying their pills never moved out of Punta Gorda.

Good experience really , In and out pretty quick. I would like it if it was a little cleaner but I’ve been coming here for 25 years

Along with several others, I'd give zero stars if I could. We run a business, and we can't even send out checks from our location anymore because the mail delivery driver must be eating them or something. Our customers don't receive them. It's not the checks because we mail them out from our residence and THAT mail system somehow always manages to deliver them. No excuse. Final straw was yesterday when they marked a package undeliverable. The gate was open, and we were on site! How do you claim a package is undeliverable when you don't even try/ get out of your vehicle? We even go days without receiving our mail and then get it all in one giant clump at the end of the week. To top it off, had to FIGHT with the phone tree, once I got to a hold line, that's where I sat. On hold. They don't answer their phone whatsoever. We've been having issues with our mail person for a while now and I'm officially writing a review because come on people, really?
