This has been one of the worst experiences I have had at Circle K. The cashier, an elderly white woman, was very nasty to me. I walked into the store to purchase a tobacco product, and she refused to sell to me. I am a white woman with a black step son. She kept raising her voice at me that she needs his ID. I assured her that it was for me, not my son that accompanied me into the store. Then she sold a tobacco product to the white lady in line behind me that had her white younger daughter. I asked why. She said it is a Policy for Circle K to not sell to anyone with a minor. I said what, you just did. We returned to our vehicle. My husband asjed me what happened where is your purchase, we explained what happened. My husband then went into the store to purchase the product, and she was nasty to him and refused to sell to him. Meanwhile, there was another white customer with her white daughter who purchased the same product and the cashier sold to them. The cashier then shouted out the said POLICY of Circle K, stating they cannot sell to anyone with a minor. The customer laughed and told her that she was going against policy. This is ridiculous we are in 2025 and people are still treating others with a different race so badly. This is a poor mentality that only trickles down from the top. This cashier represents the business.

I visit the Circle K at 301 and Symmes rd regularly since it’s in my neighborhood, but the morning experience is consistently disappointing. The owner, an older Hispanic lady, is extremely rude and has no personality. She even offered me a refund once just because I asked a question—completely unnecessary and unprofessional. The older white lady who works mornings is also rude and rushes customers out of the store, even when there’s no line.
I’ve noticed that this location has multiple bad reviews on Google, which shows I’m not the only one experiencing these issues. Something really needs to be done to improve the customer service here. It’s unfortunate because the afternoon employees are much nicer, and I’d like to continue supporting a store in my community.
Additionally, they sell outdated products, which is unacceptable. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and makes changes for the better.

I have lived in this neighborhood for a very long time. And the owner of this store does not know how to treat her regulars or her customers with any good customer service. Her service is so bad that I could be out of gas and that could be the store right by me and I would drive 4 miles if I had to on E to another location because her service is just so terrible. No personality and no kindness. You’re better off going across the street to the 7-Eleven

Probably worst gas station in Riverview Florida pumps speed so slow waiting a lot and restroom always closed dor customers!!shame for circle k quality!!!

Prejudice old lady was very unwelcoming and rude as we proceeded to hand her ID she threw back the card and said she couldn't use it because it wasn't an ID when in fact it was and every other location has accepted it ...not even expired for her to treat people like this ... I will be bringing this up to headquarters

If you are part of the Inner Circle and you're trying to get the buy one get one free zero sugar Monster Energy Drink do not go to Circle K they do not honor their special their ad they're advertisement false advertisement they do not honor it you get it it will be $5.40 not buy one get one free don't waste your time

Older lady with the tinted blue or grey hair whatever color that was , she was really rude and for no reason , probably up charged me from what it looked like. Since she’s working at circle K I wasn’t rude back .

I don’t know why but this store closes it’s doors early. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place if possible. I find it ridiculous that they close their doors early and if I wanna buy something I have to do it through a drive-through window next to the door. One star for bad customer service. Bad store experience. And just general unsafe environment.

This is about the most disgusting Circle K I have a been in. The parking lot is a mess. I Sprained my ankle stepping on a soda bottle that was strewn about the parking lot. In the restroom is disgusting.
