I've had a good experience everytime I've been to NY Hair Salon. The staff are knowledgeable, professional and nice. I've never been disappointed with my hair after going there.

I called and made an appointment, when I arrived no one looked up or asked me why I was there. When I asked about sign in or my appointment. No one answered. I sat there. After asking a second time because now it was 10 min after my appointment someone came over and said 40min more. Unacceptable if I call and u give me a time. What made it worse was the lack of customer service and attention to questions being asked. I left without any services

Wife just went in, she arrived at 11am for an 11am appointment. The three chairs were occupied, none of the staff acknowledged her presence. The one English speaking hairdresser eventually responded to her inquiries after a few minutes had passed and told her the wait will be 45 minutes. It was done so matter of factly that it was obvious her money was not welcomed there. She walked out.

Both of college age daughters were looking for a beauty shop to go to as we have just moved to the state. They both loved the shop the people and the time taken with them to get exactly what they wanted done. They both came out of the shop with a smile and happy with they cuts. I was pleasantly pleased with the prices.
