RaceTrac

Convenience Stores , Gas Stations
Hours: RaceTrac is a popular convenience store chain in the Southeast, known for offering affordable fuel and a variety of food and drink options. Customers appreciate the clean stores, friendly staff, and the availability of freshly brewed coffee, breakfast sandwiches, and made-in-house pizzas. The roller grill and hot food items provide quick service, while refreshing fountain drinks and grab-and-go snacks meet everyday needs. Many locations have a good parking area and essential road trip supplies, making it a convenient stop for travelers. However, some issues affect the overall experience. Staff shortages, especially at night and on weekends, sometimes lead to the store closing early or inside areas being shut down, which can be confusing and frustrating for customers. Notices about these closures are often not posted, adding to the inconvenience. While staff are generally friendly and helpful during the day, overnight service can sometimes be less welcoming, with reports of rude behavior. Despite these concerns, the store maintains a clean environment and offers a good app with coupons and rewards for discounts on gas and items. Overall, RaceTrac is trusted for its cleanliness, product variety, and convenient location, but staffing issues and inconsistent hours are challenges that can impact customer satisfaction.
