We arrived to donate things and were treated very rudely, kind of ironic so we went and donated somewhere else

Salvation Army and Samaritan’s Purse are my two favorite charities to give to. They don’t waste a lot of money on advertising like others and I like how they help out people of all kinds in all kinds of places. Christian principles too.

It's almost as if she doesnt want to help.
Non welcoming staff.
I was told I could walk in, upon walking in, the front desk told me to wait in the room since the person was with a client. After waiting with the baby who was cranky, she then decides to come and tell me that no walk-ins are allowed and only by appointments.
Wasted gas and money and time that I don't have to come here to make an appointment.
I wouldnt come here if I wasn't in dire need of help. To smirk and be happy that you can't help me is unacceptable and rude.

They helped me one month and told me to come back next month too. When I tried, they said they didn't have funds yet, to call back. I called every day for 2 weeks, left numerous messages and no one responded.

I love the Salvation because when I go to service I feel the present of the lord there. In addition I enjoy the band everyone there is caring and very concern about each other. I have been to many denominations and the only church I feel the presence of the Holy Spirit is there at the Salvation Army. They also help in disasters, help the communities, they help to shelter homeless people, they run a ARC program for people with addictions. I truly see the good they do for this country as well as other poor countries that need help. Going there has changed my life and made be a better person.

Horrible communication. Paul Barr hung up the phone after trying to reach him numerous times. He also had my family travel 3 hours crosstown only to find out the next day that he was out sick and he called at 630 am that he left early. I have reached our to numerous others and still a wait a call back from them.
