I walked in to get flu shot for my 60 and 65 year old parents with insurance Medicare plus Medicaid. I took appointment while waiting and then intern/pharmacist told me they don’t take my mother insurance while they filled her medication month ago. I asked cash price for flu shot and he said $99.99. Really? When does flu shot price went from $40 to $100?? Now, my dad who has Medicare part D and Medicaid he refused to check it and with pard D said $140 copay .. while cash price is $99.99 said by you, how come copay is $140 sir ?? I asked twice knowing all the pharmacy rules being pharmacist myself but he was so sure he is right and pharmacist next to him didn’t even take a second to resolve or put input. This is not the service acceptable. While you advertise free flu shot with most of insurances , you don’t know how to bill part d ? Learning point right there .

They are so confused. Call to tell me my mom’s script would be ready after 330. I get there at 630, no script, “too early to fill”. I leave and call them back, “ I’m sorry you were told that, you may pick it up by 830”. I get there at 830, no script “too soon to fill”. I questioned why I would be told one thing (twice) on the phone but something different in person, pharmacist said “I’m too busy to explain, let your husband explain it to you” 🤨

Typical Walgreens set up. It was clean and organized. Easy to find what you need pretty quickly.

I've never had any good experience with this pharmacy. It takes more than a week to get a prescription filled. And more often than not, their computer systems are down. What are the patients to do when they need their medication in a timely manner. Best to steer clean and find another pharmacy

Lines at the pharmacy are Always way too long... Prescription take to long to fill...probably a day. Think we're going to start trying Publix pharmacy
