Being new to Riverview I had a horrible experience with CVS on Gibsonton Dr & 301. I called Walmart pharmacy and had all my meds refilled without a problem. The lady on the other end stated that meds will be ready for a 2pm pick up. She was kind and very helpful. I believe her name was Gina. The best part after I Hung up I received a text from Walmart that my meds were ready and this was 2 hrs earlier than she mention. Thank you for your quick service and I look forward refilling all my meds there.

So many problems, I don't even know where to begin. Save yourself a lot of hassle and go somewhere else. 2 years of this and I just can't take it anymore ??♀️

I tried to use a WALMART Retail Me Not Rx Saver Coupon. The 'Pharmacy Assitant' tried to deny WALMART'S own coupon with Rx Saver. I backed out of the app and reentered all the information. It came up with Walmart Retail Me Not Coupon at $29.19. She refused to accept it, though all the information was current and correct. She kept saying the first 3 letters (as if it was a different drug) of the generic name (prescription was entered with both generic and trade names) as was listed on the Walmart Rx saver coupon. I explained to her that it was the same medication. The assistant didn't get the Pharmacist, when I asked for the Pharmacist. We can't let 'assistants' with inadequate ability/education try to disallow a perfectly good coupon. I wonder what would happen if the patient has less medical education than myself? They could switch prices on them, which in this case was more than $50. I usually don't have problems with Walmart pharmacies. I will also report this to Walmart Corporate who enters into the RxSaver Coupon Contracts. BUT the immediate solution is that the Pharmacist with the license, speak with the patient when requested and more closely supervise their 'assistants'. Pharmacies are 1 important area where 'assistants' with inadequate ability/education are allowed to do more than they should .......but the Pharmacist on duty is ultimately responsible.

Always have to wait in line for more than 30 minutes. No cashiers on duty. I will stop buying at Walmart if they don't start hiring more personal and ditch the self checkout.
