“We loved our experience at the center today! What a wonderful thing they are doing by helping rehabilitate all of those sea turtles. The kids loved seeing the loggerhead and green turtles, as well as one hawksbill. Very informative and even had visitors watch the shark and fish feeding sessions.Extremely clean facility, snack bar, and lovely gift shop. Highly recommend a visit for anyone in the area!”

“Well-maintained and beautiful garden that’s perfect for a quick walk through or quiet contemplation. It gets pretty busy on the weekends but most people leave pretty quickly. The parking is somewhat limited, but you can usually find a space. The gardens have really cool permanent sculptures and also temporary art exhibits to check out throughout the year. The buildings adjacent also include a library and small theatre that holds exhibits and concerts.”

“I was raised on 45th Street in WPB. My dad and one of his brothers were two of those members way back in th 1940's. We so much enjoyed The Flotila Club. We had our boat docked there, made so many friends, and loved the pool when it was placed. My favorite fun times was when Dad and Uncle Don went fishing Saturday mornings. I was the only kid who woke up before the light and Dad, Uncle Don and I would go to The Flotilla Club. Uncle Don prepared our boat, Dad would be wading with his fishing net to get our bait. Then we went "out" the inlet and fished. Those days I will NEVER forget. I did get to fish sometimes. My very best catch was a sailfish ... WOW! So glad to find The Flotilla Club on my phone today. Oops, forgot my name at this time. Brockway!!”

“National headquarters! I stopped by to see if my hair I've been growing for donation during the pandemic had too much grey in it for their requirements for donation (more than 50%). Which they told me it did, but I could go ahead & color it before I donate it which is acceptable. Anything but bleaching. So nice to walk in and get a direct answer. Will color it & get it donated very soon.”
“I have been working with the Salvation Army for just about 4 years as the Director of Family Stores. I have an extensive background in retail management and never have I felt as fulfilled as I do now. We help our community by selling gently used household items including furniture at deeply discounted prices and also provide vouchers for people in our community who need our help. The money we recoup through the stores goes directly Social Services programs in the West Palm Beach Community.”
