Tank leaking after fill in December; Tank was NOT inspected at/before fill, though we expected an inspection because it had been more than 5 years since last fill and someone from Amerigas "looked" at the tank in December before it was filled. We smelled gas, contacted Amerigas, called 911, fire department confirmed leak at regulator. Amerigas replaced regulator. We asked for at least a partial credit for lost gas and were denied because we own the tank, despite Amerigas personnel involvement in the problem/lack of inspection. VERY UNHAPPY. We've spent $1300 and now have the same amount of gas we had when we requested the fill.EDIT: It’s been two weeks since AmeriGas posted; I’ve heard NOTHING from them. Where’s the promised call/email?

We completely depleted our gas tank on a Friday afternoon, and made the call to AmeriGas. They were able to come to us on the following Monday and fill our tank. We’re grateful for the prompt response.

I've been trying to get an Amerigas 500 Gallon propane tank removed from my property for the last year. It was left by the previous owner. The overseas phone center keeps assuring me someone will contact me to schedule a pickup... that call never comes.Again, I've been trying to get this resolved for months. The tank is corroded and is starting to pose a safety hazard.

I have had nothing but problems with your company and its customer associates. From gas leaking out on 2-different occasions, to multiple and current billing issues, over 6-hrs on the phone with minimal results from 3rd party over seas customer service etc. I would love a real account manager to call me and get this figured out once and for all.

Your recent reply to my last feedback was less than desirable.

I scheduled service twice the first time no one came out I was home the whole day and they charged me $99 I rescheduled. They said they would call me and set up an appointment seven days later they showed up at my house when I was not home so far, I have not gotten the repair I requested I requested that they replace the shut off valve to the house because it is rusted and can’t be turned off. Should there be an emergency? I also requested that a device be put on my tank so that I could monitor the gas usage from the app no one has reached out to me. No one has called me and I’m being billed $99 for service. I did not get so I am very disappointed.

Phone call took forever to complete. Could not understand the foreign person on the other end of the phone. No American employees to talk to. Ridiculous. Once a year rip off of $100 to rent a tank so I can fill up with overpriced gas.

I didn't even want to give them one star. I don't know how Amerigas is in business with their abysmal customer service (oversees call centers) which have no connectivity with operations. Had to threaten senior management on LinkedIn in order to get attention/service. So glad we finally closed the account. Don't touch this company.

I’ve been trying to transfer service for 60 days from my old address to my new address, literally one block over. I have called 14 times in 6 days after running out of propane, with no resolution. No hot water, no ability cook, do laundry or run the dishwasher - these people simply do not care. The departments don’t communicate internally, the notes taken are minimal, the reference numbers given mean nothing. I’ve been billed from my old address, I’ve been charged for a delivery that has been supposed to be dispatched and arrive for 5 days now. I can’t get any human being at Amerigas to care enough to fix the problem. It’s insanely frustrating. This should not be a difficult request.
