“Just had an amazing experience with this rescue. I found an injured crane in my community. When I called I was skeptical about getting in contact with someone (I know these types of places are normally short staffed) but I got someone! She was very thorough in asking about the suspected injury and obtaining its location. While she contacted volunteers to pick up the crane she asked me if I could stay nearby to keep an eye on it in case it tried to leave so I could potentially track the direction. It didn’t move (thankfully) and they were able to get a volunteer out here very quickly. Diane (the volunteer) handled the rescue with gentle calm compassion. I’m so grateful for this organization and its volunteers.”
“Thank you so much for the Cornhole venue run by some awesome men. We had a great time and so glad we came out to the Elks lodge.
This place was very nice, friendly faces and great drinks.”
“A really great art gallery with absolutely lovely artists. I went to the In the Heat of the Summer Exhibition and I loved everything I saw. This particular show is open until 8/31/25 and I highly recommend it!”

“I am so thankful to Danny and her staff for giving me this awesome little mutt. Onyx (formerly Juniper) is adjusting really well. It was such a blessing to both me and the dog. Keep doing the difficult but great work that you do. And thanks for giving me a great friend for life.”
“My daughter is always happy to go here and she has been improving so much. They provided a detailed breakdown of all the area she needs help in and it will be vital to making her transition back to school fromhomeschooling easier. My other children loved the roblox camp.”
“This place is awesome. They have everything, open 7 days a week. Friendly staff and very helpful. Even have a dressing room to try on things before you buy. A must place to go shopping. I love my Island thrift store.”
“Very helpful services. They installed 3 grab bars and were very professional and very fast also. I think you have to be very patience when dealing with this type of organization, but they will get it done. Lots of changes in rules & regulations and they have to work around all that. What a wonderful service this is.
Kudos to Jimmy & Sean.”
“Great job at keeping the beach clean in cocoa beach I was highly impressed. You would have received 5 starts if it was for the lady working this morning getting high and driving. I had my children with me and that was a very uneasy feeling knowing she was driving that little truck and my children having to smell that and explain to them it was drugs. Heavier set lady no teeth sitting under the peir about 8:30 -9 am. She offered the kids some sand toys but we politely denied not knowing what other drugs she may have been on.”
“Very good resource for people in need. The people here arent always the nicest but they provide food and help for so many people in brevard county. The food pantry has some issues such as rotten and molded food and spoiled meats but so do all the local food pantries. A lot of people owe their lives to the services this place offers and the work of the volunteers here.”
“A wonderful place to adopt a cat.Period this facility has indoor a caccommodations, and the cats are free roaming around the Place. They are very well taken care of.”
“I want to start by saying how impressed I am with how the staff at MIMA takes the time to get to know each student and their individual needs. From the second you walk in the door, the pride the owners take in every aspect of their business is apparent. My son is 6 years old and enrolled in the Dragons program. This program offers a positive and structured learning environment for younger children while providing fun and challenging martial arts curriculum. Highly recommend MIMA to any family looking to explore or commit to martial arts!”
“What a wonderful place to visit! My friend and I visited yesterday and learned that everything was 50% percent off! We scored well! I was able to get brand new shoes for one of my senior residents who needed a new pair and some CD'S to play at our Sodalis Senior Living Community. Wonderful staff and a pleasant environment. They also have a Senior Resource Center behind their Thrift Shop. It's wonderful to see all the support that they give our residents, especially the seniors.”
“Everything that is within the workers control is five stars. They're very nice, everything's organized. However, they have a surplus of inventory due to the extremely high prices. Many things cost about the same as a brand new item. Thrifting is not really fun anymore due to this. They are trying to price things the same as eBay, which has billions of views a day and people easily being able to search for exactly what they're looking for. This is a totally different audience and experience so one should not be charging $13.99 for a stained old Navy dress (that's retails at $16 brand new!). It's just getting absurd.”
“We had the Celebration of life for my mother in law here. Commander Mark and his wife Judy were instrumental in helping us create a beautiful event and wonderful send-off. We wanted for nothing, our friends and family were taken care of, and they were in constant communication to make sure everything went smoothly. They added levity and compassion to a difficult time, and we are so grateful to have trusted them with this.”
