I’ve been with SmartStop Storage in Royal Palm Beach for 13 years, and I can confidently say the service and pricing have gone downhill. I’m currently paying $194 a month for a 5x10 unit, while new customers are being offered the exact same size for around $100. Loyalty clearly means nothing here — long-term customers get punished instead of appreciated.
On top of that, the facility has no carts or equipment to help you move items. When I asked about it, I was told that “people put them in their lockers and there’s nothing they can do.” So basically, you’re on your own.
If you’re thinking about moving in, stay away. Between the overpriced units and the lack of basic moving assistance, this place is not worth it.

I accidentally drove away from the unit with it unlocked for fifteen minutes, Vaughn was a great help reviewing the security footage and assuring nothing was taken due to my negligence.
