Why is it that every employee thinks it's okay to smoke right at the door? Have class not everyone likes it in their face! Service is okay.

Whoever is supposed to be in the store closed it and left a note saying they’d be back in 10 minutes. I sat for 30 minutes and watched countless customers come by to spend money but the store was closed lol. Y’all need to get it together

This 7-eleven never has the slurpees working. The Red flavor and Blue flavor are never ready. Go to the 7-eleven on Rt 41 in Apollo Beach instead. I’ve had much more luck in getting the slurpee flavor there.

1st and 2nd shift is amazing and very professional! Night shift constantly closes and locks the doors for hours at a time. Claiming they are on a bathroom break for 15 mins. Two nights ago i literally set in the parking lot for a hour and a half with my car on E. Barley made it to the 711 pumps.

On July 20th, at approximately 3:03 PM, I visited the 7-Eleven store on Shellpointe Road, expecting a routine stop for some candy. Unfortunately, what I encountered was anything but ordinary, and it left me deeply shaken and concerned for my safety.
While browsing the candy aisle, I overheard the cashier, a man whose photo I captured, engaging in a conversation with his colleague, an employee who appeared visibly uncomfortable. The cashier was loudly sharing his views on Islam, claiming that it was a religion of Satan, and making derogatory and inflammatory remarks about Muslims. He went on to describe Islam as a religion that promotes torture and murder for those who don’t conform, painting a horrific and entirely false picture of a peaceful faith.
As a Muslim myself, I was deeply disturbed by this conversation. I politely approached the cashier and asked him to refrain from discussing such sensitive topics in such an inappropriate manner, especially in a public space especially because I was Muslim, I explained that I was Muslim and was politely asking him to stop. His response was chilling—he looked at me and simply said, “So what?” When I mentioned that I would report him, he showed no concern whatsoever, responding with, “I don’t care.”
Fearing for my safety, I quickly paid and left the store, attempting to diffuse the situation by smiling and wishing him a good day, despite the turmoil I felt inside. Once in my car, I immediately locked the doors and called 7-Eleven’s corporate office to report the incident. They assured me that the store owner or manager would contact me, but no one did. I had to track down the manager myself as this situation was not important enough for them to reach out to me.
Taking matters into my own hands, I eventually reached out to the store and spoke with the manager, Nazia Afridi. She hides behind the name Nancy. Despite my detailed account of the incident, her response was disheartening. She mentioned that the cashier’s family was experiencing financial difficulties, and she appeared more concerned with his personal situation than with the safety and well-being of the store’s customers—many of whom, like myself, are Muslim.
It is deeply troubling to me that this individual remains employed at this store, especially considering the store owners are also Muslim. The lack of action and response to such hateful rhetoric is not only negligent but dangerous. I fear for the safety of other Muslim patrons who frequent this store, unaware of the hostility they might encounter.
This review is just the beginning. I have consulted with civil rights attorneys who believe I have a strong case against this store for their inaction and failure to address this serious issue. I am not seeking revenge; I am seeking justice and assurance that no one else will have to endure such a traumatic experience at this location.
I sincerely hope 7-Eleven corporate and the store management reconsider their stance and take appropriate action before this situation escalates further.
I am hiding my identity for my own safety. Email me for more information.

I would give 0 star to this place if I could… one of cashier young guy works at this place has no respect for customers.. when I asked to see manager, he replied with YOUR LOOKING AT IT with big eyes like he wanted to scare me. This kind of people should not have job. Owner needs to make changes before this place go to trash.
