I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I received at the Ruskin store on 7/3/25. As a Metro customer of over 20 years, I was shocked by the unprofessional treatment I experienced. Upon entering the store, I was ignored because I do not speak Spanish. When I attempted to communicate, a Spanish-speaking representative told me to leave the store. I was there to buy an internet device that they did not have in stock, and although they activated the service, I was told to pick it up the next day at noon. However, when I arrived at 1 pm, I was informed that I had to drive approximately 30 minutes to pick up the device because they didn’t have time to retrieve it. By the time I was ready to address this issue, the lady was already assisting someone else, and I had to wait until she finished to obtain the location.

Love Metro by T-Mobile but I hate this store location poor girl here all by herself like eight customers and it's taking forever to help one to fix their phone I came here to get a case for my phone and there's nobody to help this girl. If this is a franchise keep Metro should take it away from the franchisee and give it to another franchisee or make it a corporate store. It's always like this one associate at night and tons of customers. They need a new manager now and more associates. It's always busy here.

My boyfriend needed a new phone. The girl behind the counter didn't speak English very well. All he needed was the phone. She added a case, screen protectors, and a charger to his bill. On top of that, he had to pay for the entire phone up front.
I've been with Verizon, T-Mobile, and now Spectrum. I have never had to pay for the phone up front. It's always added to my monthly bill.
Just a weird experience all around.

Is this a cell phone store??? It is more of a night club with ridiculously loud music playing and employees who provide no help at all.

I had the pleasure of waiting outside the store from 2:47 PM to 3:00 PM because the door was locked, and a note was left on the door: “At lunch, be back at 3.” After waiting, the store manager, who also appeared to be the only person working; finally unlocked the door.
Now, I understand being short-staffed. Everyone is entitled to have their lunch, and that’s not the issue. My 2-star review is for the manager who unlocked the door but didn’t even bother to open it for us. When we walked in, we weren’t greeted; we had to initiate the conversation. Only then did he start helping us, though it was with zero eye contact—probably because his undivided attention was fixed on the football game on his cellphone.
This person clearly needs more training when it comes to customer service. It was obvious we were interrupting his game time while he was on the clock.

The people that work here never knows how to handle any situation I ever have they barely speak English well and don’t know what they’re doing I had to go to this store 3 different and the issue still wasn’t fixed please please please train these people you’re hiring the correct way so they’ll handle situations accordingly because this is ridiculous that they only know one thing and that’s too sell me a phone very very bad BUSINESS here I’ll never go to this location again !!!

Under new management, everything has been improve, they’re very profesional, helpful and provide great customer service; also great deals and knowledgeable staff, affordable promotions and they don’t try to rip you off like other Metros do.

Poor customer service if you are white (Caucasian) or black. They prefer Spanish speaking customers as does the grocery store next door. They totally ignore you, take people that are in line behind you and on and on. Need businesses in the area that embrace diversity.
