Philippe Park is a beautiful, large, and peaceful hidden gem in Safety Harbor. It sits right on the water with breathtaking, scenic views, including a view of the Courtney Campbell bridge. The park is huge with plenty of open space, perfect for picnics, strolling, bike rides, reading, or working. Visitors can enjoy clean restrooms, plenty of parking, covered picnic areas, benches, trails, and a small beach area. It is great for adventure, with fun stuff to discover like an ancient Indian ceremonial mound and a family of owls. It is also ideal for young children with two playgrounds and is a great place to walk a dog. Dolphins are sometimes spotted swimming near the seawall. The park offers a positive vibe and is a magical, must-visit location for the entire family, providing an escape for anyone having a bad day.
