St James General Store is a small market that offers a little bit of everything, making it a convenient stop for odds and ends. While it occasionally runs out of items due to its location, customers appreciate the great staff, especially a young lady who is kind and patient with customers. Many visitors love the store for allowing them to stay on the island without needing to leave, and they fondly reminisce about their favorite products.
It's like a family general store. We all know each other. All the locals go there and of course the people that are visiting them. Snowbirds, but it's nice, they recognize everybody that is a local, and do you feel like you're friends with everyone there

A great stop while on Pine Island with the friendliest and most knowledgeable staff!! we stopped for cold drinks and got great info on exactly where to go. Definitely a hugely important store for the community and what a great stop!
