“I was excited to find a local artist to buy a piece from to commemorate my trip to the Gulf, and Evander Preston Contemporary did not disappoint! Though the gallery is closed to the public (it's used as an event space), we still got to see several of his paintings, one of the sculptures he was working on towards the end of his life and, of course, his incredible jewelry. Heather was so helpful in assisting me to find the perfect pieces and Susan showed us a series of photos commemorating Evander's life. I will certainly treasure my Evander Preston jewelry, and hope to acquire more pieces in the future!”

“Stopped in today and had a nice experience. The part-owner was working—he was friendly, easy to talk to, and clearly takes pride in the place after helping restore the store post-hurricane. On top of that, the prices are perfectly reasonable with none of the crazy markups you sometimes see. Good local spot.”
