The Beachcomber is a location on the beach with super convenient beach access, considered by some to be the best barefoot bar on St. Pete Beach and a great place to stay when visiting Florida. Guests highlight the clean rooms, good food, great drinks, and excellent live music. The beach personnel and housekeeping are noted as friendly and helpful. The property features a pool in the courtyard and pretty flowers. However, the "resort" was still under construction at the time of these reviews. Some guests were underwhelmed by the rooms and the quality of the finishes. Specific complaints included a suite that felt like an additional space with no tables or desks and no overhead lights, patio furniture limited to lounging Adirondack chairs, and lobby doors that would not stay closed. Issues with a malfunctioning AC that smelled awful and a lack of complementary bottled water as described were also reported. The beach bar, while fun and frequented by locals, contributed to the area being very noisy, especially in the wee hours when the bar closed. Some guests felt service options were inflexible. Despite the criticisms, many recommend giving this place a whirl.

This is by far the BEST Barefoot Bar on St Pete Beach. It's a must to visit if you're not staying at Beachcomber's which is also at the top. So glad you're back!!!!
